It FINALLY Happened The Sony FX3 has Officially been Approved by Netflix! The FX3 can now be used on sets to film for NETFLIX Originals Movies & Shows. The Sony FX3 is now closer to being accepted as a true compact cinema camera, aside from missing shutter angle and false color.. and internal ND's which dont bother me. But the fact that The Sony FX3 is NETFLIX APPROVED!! means i no longer have just a A7SIII Twin haha!

I'm not that excited there are tons of stuff on Netflix that is made with non Netflix approved cameras. make great content

Agreed there too! It’s not the camera that tells the story!! But I am excited because I use Sony cameras over canon and black magic!

It’s a hard question to answer, because when it comes to actual specs both cameras are exactly identical, you can get the same shot on both cameras.. Where they differ is how you get those shots, the A7SIII has more of a mirrorless photo camera approach, where the FX3 has a more cinema camera approach now with the addition of Cine Ei, Luts, New Menus and Timecode! They’re both technically the best, but if it were me I would opt for the FX3 it’s design and features are more focused for video!

I dont think so, its also part of the internal update.. I think they’re trying to separate the sIII and the fx3
So does it means.. A7SIII is also approved ?
