What video I need to cross reference

So I looked back to the original creepypasta because it had been so long that I'd actually forgotten about this entirely, and like _there is little to nothing about the actual episode written in the story!_ All that's definitively known in the original is that there's a scene of Tails with tears in his eyes screaming at Sonic, a shot of him falling into the river, and the bits about Robotnik hacking up blood and Tails crying over a headless flicky are also implied. The bit about the kids vomiting at the sight of the episode is also brought up. That is literally all the parts that are known for sure about the episode in the original story. That means that Rodrigo had to extrapolate all of this additional story himself for this video! *_I actually want to know what the process of filling in those blanks in the narrative looked like, tbh._* Keep up the great work, dude!

I'm actually _stunned_ at how good this one is. From the actual feeling of a bootleg tape (both in the live-action segment and the actual tape footage), how inconsistant in quality the animation and voices are, and man, the _violence_ in this one... feels like I'm watching a retake from a *different* creator! I really don't have much to compliment, because this left me speechless for the most part. More than your Faceless retake, and that was amazing as well. You absolutely *COOKED* with this one, and I can't wait to see more.

Sonic sez WHAT THE FU-

Okay so heres a quick summary Episode plays out normal until Sonic goes batshit crazy, killing Scratch and Grounder, later spindashes AND cuts off Dr. Robotnik's pingas, goes batshit crazy AGAIN and kills a flicky, and afterwards Tails. After that he regrets his decisions, remembers the good times with Tails, seemingly has a nightmare, then commits suicide. Scariest fuckin non EXE Sonic related horror material. 10/10 You've earned a subscriber. oh wait this guy made that kickass faceless retake no wonder this is peak...

What confounds me is what exactly the end goal was here. None of Vidtape’s other releases were edited like this (not to my knowledge at least). This would have taken a LOT of effort to make in 1995, so they really must have been dedicated. If this was a jab at DIC, what was it for? Was Vidtape jealous of their success?

When i saw the Sonic killing Robotnik scene, i didn't think i would see something so disturbing about Sonic the f-ing Hedgehog Also, the fact that Robotnik stayed alive after this is even more disturbing Great job, the tape turned out to be legitimately scary

This looks real as hell..... It's cool that you decided to abandon the VHS filter and record it on real tape instead, it's much more realistic. I've been reading the original creepypastа, and I've been waiting for the release of this video since the first teaser, and I want to say that it's not in vain. great job!

Holy smokes, this got way more messed up and gory than I thought it was gonna get. This feels like what would happen if someone decided to push how far they can go without it seeming law breaking bad. This was honestly really well made. The Robotnik death scene waa genuinely shocking to me, I was not exp Sonic to straight up spindash into him, it was REALLY brutal. And the nightmare sequence with Tails, Scratch and Grounder coming back to haunt Sonic was genuinely unsettling. And I also really liked the Sonic.EXE callback with Tails walking around only to see dead animals on the ground. Making the episode have purposeful edit mistakes was a very good idea, because if you made any actual mistakes, it would easily pass off as part of the story. This tactic should be used more often.

Here after the premiere, and wow, just wow. This is easily the most brutal and violent retake of any creepypasta I’ve ever seen. I like how it’s a bootleg tape, instead of a real, lost episode that only aired once. The original story doesn’t make sense, as it stats that the voice actors left after they were done recording there lines. (Tails voice actor had to be escorted out by his mother, as he was crying hard from his screaming/recording session.) The reason it doesn’t make sense is because if they truly did leave, why would they come back in SATAM and underground? Another thing that annoys me about the original story, is that we never truly know what the episode contained, as when the author finds a tape of the episode, it’s just a bunch of static, with a guy appearing for a split second. Another thing that is dumb is that a bunch of the people who watched the episode reported bleeding and having nightmares. The nightmares part makes sense, but bleeding doesn’t make any sense what so ever. In conclusion, original story is mediocre. Not the worst, but definitely not the best. This remake is phenomenal, and the violence makes sense, as it’s a fake. So I’ll give a the best ranking, 11/10. The reason why it’s an 11/10 is because you included the headless bird scene. (joke) But yea, definitely one of if not the BEST retake you’ve done yet. You should also explore these CARTOONS R FUN guy’s in the future, as it can lead to some very interesting plots. Anyways that’s all, and thanks for making this, (also the crappy case for the tape isn’t too far off from the official VHS releases for DIC shows.)

I love how the quality very slowly, but surely went down in quality. Just enough for a keen eye to notice, but not enough for a casual. Such as progressively stiffer animation, until there almost wasn't any. Well done.

I shall NEVER see Sonic the same way again....

10/10 I would say that the only downside was a bit of a cut back on showing the bodies or as sonic was actually killing them but that all got made up for when they came back to haunt him. This is the most well Animated Retake I’ve ever seen of a Creepypasta lost episode. Prestigious work! Actually felt like a genuine lost episode

Firstly I wanna say, this was incredibly well done. The editing was really great, and there were some moments where I couldn’t tell what was animated from the actual show, or animated exclusively for this, and I’m pretty familiar with the source material. I love the gradual shift in both the video’s quality and tone. As more horror elements pop in, the quality starts to get worse, and even after Sonic had already destroyed Scratch and Grounder, the tone still manages to sort of stay in line with typical AOSTH to an extent with Robotnik’s moments. The video only really starts to become full horror at around the half way point, which I think is perfect for a retake like this, and keeping some of the original tone for the first chunk of the video added a lot of tension for the first half. The added detail of actually going through the VHS conversion instead of a filter, and the context for the bootleg’s existence as a whole with Cartoons R Fun helped make the story feel a bit more grounded. You and everyone else involved in this did a terrific job, and I look forward to any of your future projects! Side note: I saw numerous comments about whether or not Robotnik is or isn’t dead in the story, and wanna say I love that you kept his fate open ended. It adds a little extra layer to the story that didn’t need to be there, but glad it was included anyways. Please never give a direct answer.

I clicked on this video expecting a poorly put together story with even worse animation. So I decided to watch this jokingly to see how bad it could be. But by the time I had watched the entire thing, my heart was pounding and my hands were shaking. The story was very believable and I was surprised to see that the company who supposedly produced the tape shown in the video, "Videtape Inc," was actually a real company. Overall this has to be the best Sonic the Hedgehog Creepypasta videos I have ever seen in my life and I hope to see more this!

Oh my gosh, this is INCREDIBLE! I'm actually not the biggest fan of creepypastas myself, since I'm actually one of those kinds of people who gets scared easily by them, but the scenes are so cleverly edited, and the dialogue is so well pieced together that I just have to give this one a pass! I actually took a look at the original creepypasta that this video is based off of, to get a feel for the kind of story that my recreations would be used in, and I gotta be honest, it wasn't exactly the best. Like, the majority is just static, and you can't even really see what's happening? Boring. This video, I feel, takes that awful story and enhances it _tenfold,_ as this time you can actually see what's going on! And my gosh, it almost leaves you wishing you COULDN'T, as everything that's going on here is just so dark and disturbing! I actually felt _legitimately sick_ when it showed the scene of Robotnik throwing up blood! This is the first creepypasta that I have _EVER_ watched to have _actually_ made me feel _sick to my stomach_ while watching, and that just goes to show how outstanding this video was. As for the VHS itself, the cover for the case in the real footage and the VHS recording itself is so good, both _almost_ look like they could have been real! You did an amazing job capturing the look and feel of a real VHS tape with the footage, and the cover was really well designed too! It's so put together well that it _looks_ like it _could_ be real, but something seems...off about it. Maybe it's the poorly drawn Sonic on the front, who knows? But that works to its advantage, seeing as this is supposed to be a bootleg tape! In conclusion, this might be one of the best creepypastas I think I've ever seen! It really made me feel on edge the entire time! Well done, Rodrigo! I'm happy to have provided some of the music for this!

Taking the past disciplines of online horror while using more modern techniques, good job

For a show as wack as AoSTH, I imagined it’d be nigh-impossible to actually make it anywhere near creepy, but Tails near the end of the episode was seriously kinda creepy. Also really love the public-domain music used for the pivotal moments; very Ren & Stimpy-esque. Admittedly I was confused why when Robotnik’s hench-bots were destroyed they had flesh and blood coming out of their sockets, but then I realised it’s implicative of the small animals Eggman captures in the games to put in the Badniks, and since Grounder and Coconuts are actual Badniks from Sonic 2 then Sonic must’ve also obliterated the animals trapped inside of them to.

Honestly, Tails' adult voice can fit for a South Park character.

Man, this has been like 7 years when I watched something like this, but this had to be 19 minutes of it, featuring the horror build-up sound effect I really hate with a passion, plus some good scares and death scenes. In 1995, some filmmakers never added the horror build-up sound effects, but in 2006, they were released. Overall, this is the best analog horror series just like any other Sonic Tape out there.

Legitimately this is incredible. Idk something about the ytp language of it makes it feel like something someone would’ve made back in 2008 by someone with likely wild ptsd that reached me using my iPod touch on the toilet after the thumbnail had appeared enough times in the related videos for curiosity to get the better of me. Really works as one of those old creepypasta videos in a way that feels like it’d have exploded on a younger internet. Remarkable work!!

I feel like it'd be a "I won, but at what cost?" type of moment. Sure, Sonic and Tails, the two people who always foiled his plans are dead, but Robotnik wasn't the one who finished the job, so is it really a victory? Not to mention, Sonic burned down his fortress and destroyed all his robots so really, he has nothing left even if he did survive. ...also we never saw Sonic kill Captain Rescue, so even if Robotnik survived and managed to rebuild everything, he's fucked either way

WOOHOO! YEAH! IT'S HERE! This is such a good year for creepypastas. Also, the sound effects used are SO ACCURATE!!! 7:39 Thanks for cleaning up that splice. (In between "What for?" and "You nincombot!) 12:00 I've used some of those same gore sounds a LOT in my videos. Especially my Jimmy Neutron YTPS. (They aren't Fawful-styled, don't worry.) 13:08 Yeah, the original "Tails chomp-mouth" version wasn't THAT expressive. I love how most of the violence in Episode 66 start off in a more slapstick and tame stage, but as the scene continues it gets gradually worse. (also is Tails Sonic's child in this one?)

This was such an incredible work! I had been aware of vidtape thanks in part to the oddity archive (their releases are just as uncanny as this fanmade one. Seriously, look and listen to the picture and audio quality, its such a mess, add to that the spanish dubbing clearly being done by one person doing one voice and its like its from another planet). Seriously, using it as the premise is super unique and i praise you for the creativity! Id always liked asoth episode 66 mainly because it felt like a mystery novel in less that you didnt see what happened in the episode but more so the mystery in how it was created, how it got aired (local tv stations didnt heed the warning from dic and sega not to air episode 66) and the fallout as a result of airing it. I loved how it included stuff such as tails screaming at sonic "what did you do how could you" and the mention of the red sky with the black silhouettes that kids dreamt about after watching it was added to this, and the amount of animation made for this too makes this an incredible feat in the world of retakes. You are definitely rising up there among the ranks of people like vibingleaf. Keep up the great work and i hope to see this level of greatness with akuryo bubbles!

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. FANTASTIC WORK HERE MAN. I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT PROJECT!

This has got to be, without a doubt, the greatest AoSTH edit I have EVER seen. Everything from the premise, the alterations, custom animations, the slight details to make it more like the original, to you taking parts of environments and characters and making completely new scenes out of them to further tell the story. (At least, that's what I got when watching this.) I've grown up with edits like this, although of course they were YTPs, but I have never EVER seen somebody take these episodes and turn them into something like a horror movie! And better yet, do it so unbelievably well. I legit thought this was gonna suck. But, NOPE! Every single part after the first VHS glitch was just chefs kiss. The edits, overhaul of environments, just fit so well with the style of the original source. I even love that you used classic cartoon sounds! It totally makes it feel more like a cartoon from that era! There also isn't any cheap shit that I noticed from most Sonic horror related stuff I've seen. Jumpscares, possessions, whatever the heck most of them are well known for. The premise and theme for this just extremely simple and not over-the-top. Just another adventure that goes horribly wrong when Sonic just takes things one step too far. You even get some time and slight warnings to prepare yourself for what comes next! 👏THIS 👏IS 👏WHAT 👏SONIC 👏HORROR 👏NEEDS 👏TO 👏BE!!! The ONLY gripe I have is that some of the animated parts like the NewBlueFX Earthquake Shaking (Don't worry, I use that myself as well.), for example, are at a different framerate. But, I can let that slide as this is supposed to be a "bootleg." Same thing with the voice acting. Which was also well done. ^^ I don't think ANYTHING remixed from AoSTH will beat this! This was just way to good! Way to go, man! Keep doing what you do!

Tbh this was a lot more violent than i expected. 😨 I thought it would be all sunshine and rainbows with shocking bits in-between, as it was trying to pass itself as a real episode. But while i would've liked that concept a lot more, it's incredibly well made. And while i haven't read the original creepypasta, it's probably incredibly accurate to the original anyway.

Let's be honest, we all wanted to see the day that sonic would finally end robotnik once and for all.
