Emotionally uplifting message. I am from a Pacific island country and I listen to Yaakov and other Israeli singers songs every day. There's something divine about your songs. I have learnt and am still learning a lot about Israel 🇮🇱 and the Jewish people. There's something so special about Israel and the Jewish people. You all signify the word 'miracle'. Shalom.

I'm crying and laughing...song so good she needed to know the singer. All kidding aside, I went through a phase of listening to power ballad love songs all the time and was just so sad. Stopped it and the mood was regulated. Set the gate up on the ears fr.

This is a very inspiring story. What Rabbi Daimond shlita said should be a wakeup call to all Jewish singers. If music goes straight to our neshamos why is it okay to sing songs like You Raise Me Up which is sung as a hymn in Protestant houses of worship? Why do most singers think it's ok to sing Jewish words to goyishe tunes or use non Jewish dancers, albeit "kashered" with kippot and tzitzit, in their music videos? Do you think it's right for bnei Torah to dance at weddings to garbage music. Shlomo Carlebach never copied non Jewish music and his songs are still being sung today, sixty years later. Will the same hold true for today's singers' songs? Before you sing any song or tune ask yourself if your very holy Grandmother a"h, an extraordinary woman I had the great zechut to know, would approve of it. If the answer is "no", please don't sing it.

Is the background music the same song as he's talking about? I found it confusing to listen to background music while he sang a little bit of the song. It didn't sound like it all went together.

Yes it is the same song. We played it in the background so that people who are unfamiliar with the song can listen to it. Sorry you found it confusing.
