UPDATE: Great base this wipe especially solo, I turned the 2nd floor loot room into a respawn bedroom other than that its perfect! ALSO PSA for anyone thats new to building like me: IF YOUR GARAGE DOOR GETS STUCK UP INTO THE FLOOR STACK YOU CAN USE A DOOR CONTROLLER AND A BUTTON/SWITCH TO CLOSE IT AND PUT A LOCK ON AGAIN

As always, love the video. I first started playing rust when it was in alpha release on Steam. Then I never played again until CRust came out. I don't game on PC currently , so my base design inspiration usually comes from PC builds like this one. I am so glad you released this even with the change to bunkering/building for PC rust. ❤

I just finished building this on console and this is the best solo base I’ve ever built it feels so cozy and the upkeep is so cheap, I only play a few hrs a day so I don’t wanna be farming, and you never see floor stacked bases on console so no one’s going to be expecting it 🤣

Love the base design, I would love to see a base design that is super tanky. As I always find myself being faced with offlines due to not having enough protection. I know it gets expensive with more walls, but I think if the base is a confusing raid you could mitigate that. Like having a second floor tc and also having your tc behind a vending machine like in your other videos. Low key I be yapping, love your vids have a good one and thanks for the base.

it seems I cant place high walls on top of the square honey combing (on top of the elevated wall) maybe not having a foundation is messing with the stability but its just 1 wall tall, what am I doing wrong here?

What would be the next logical step for increasing raid costs? Armouring/metal more walls, adding extra honeycomb or or making armoured double doors instead of garage? Keeping upkeep into account aswell

Definitely adding armoured doors and upgrading all the outside walls (especially the 4 square walls) of honeycomb to metal. Or you can additionally upgrade the roof ramps outside :)

Add the other square above you then triangles off of that. The same thing happens to me.

Used Solitary on force wipe and this on regular wipe. Force wipe I did not get raided, but sadly I did this wipe. Seems like the raiders knew where the twig roof for the bunker was, as they raided the triangle floor above it. I had not put a floor stack above the battery spot, which is where they entered from their top down from the roof. I think for the route they took (if they used rockets all the way) they must have used 8 (roof) + 2 (double door) + 4 (garage door) + 8 (wall infront of bunker) + 4 (garage door above jump up form bunker) + 15 (armored triangle above twig) + 4 (garage door in core) + 4 (final garage door) = 49 to get to TC. Which is crazy strong considering.

where would the best place to put turrets on the roof?

I got raided with this base and rebuilt but now a bunch of my second floor roof stavks don't work and I can't figure out the issue

does this method still work after latest update?

Can i add one floor taller ?

Do you do anything with the triangle foundation that makes up the square 1x1 on the sides of the base?

I faced them outwards to make laddering up harder. Plus I added turret pods above the floor stack pixel peeks just as some extra defense

nice base i will test it on console later. you may need to add a half wall in front of where you floor stack so you have something to push against. (this is because on console you can’t go directly left or right btw)

The video quality has gone up, that's cool. But floorstack...it's complicated ahahh.

On console I was able to fully build this without issues, a couple placements are tricky but 100% doable. Practice in a build server first! ✨

Update: i have used this base on console Rust for several solo wipes and now a trio wipe, and it has not let me down yet!

once again, a fresh meal has been cooked in the kitchen.

I think we need a duo base with a half egg starter!

can’t place through wall error when trying to seal the bunker from above (2nd floor), wonder if there is a fix😢

Have you floor stacked everywhere in the core first? That should be the only reason why that happens

Got raided the moment I finished it and went offline. Btw I didn't have much loot focused on building it as my main priority. They used the c4 top-down raid. Can someone tell me how much c4 it took? Haven't finished the shooting floor though.

If the raiders drilled perfectly into the TC square it would have cost them 18 C4

Tried to raid this base, and got absolutely rekt by the floor stack

maybe a sea base or boat base can be fun

in think where the battery is make a vending machine bunker and the triangle that is left put the battery in it with a single door.

Does the bunkers work on console?? A lot of the bunkers I tried weren’t working, if so I’ll definitely try this base out.

The floor stacking works a little differently. Look through the comments about console players and you’ll see one discussion I had with 3 people yesterday. One guy explained how to do it on console and said he built it multiple times

Ez fix, you just need to upgrade the floor the roller is stuck inside and as it’s upgrading quickly hold e and pick up the door

A defendable farm base would be neat. The farm plots don't really need to be more than 2x3.

You say the raid cost of the core is 27 rockets but what is the cheapest path to the core? What's the minimum raid cost ?

To all boxes in the core it should be around 33 rockets if the raider goes perfectly to TC then rocket splashed the doors and picks up the windows to the loot rooms

you should not use dark theme when you are building, plz make weather bright day light. so we can copy easier.

Roof camping must only be used as a last resort

Only solo base with not a lot of up keep

The very first triangle you place did not have to be demolished.

i like bunkers, but i definitely think Facepunch needs to remove floor/wall stacking and all gap technology. so just give the change to make bunkers with stability, but remove all this gap nonsense. it's not even a tech, it's just glitching. now, that being said, while they dont fix it, i'm fine with people using it. but it should be removed from the game.

Pretty much a waste. The raid cost is balanced out from any side of the base this way

I think a 4 man open core style base with floor stacking and bunkers would be cool, there isn't many builders that implement floorstacking in any larger bases
