At my latin mass on Sunday, I saw an old student who said he was studying to be a Lutheran pastor but before finishing he was to attend different denominations services and then went to a latin mass. And in his words...it was over. I had to have Jesus so I am converting to be Catholic. I made many unhappy, but the truth is the truth." I was so touched as he told me how he sought out the mass and came 30 minutes early just to get a seat. So often we forget the power of His body and blood to draw those who are willing to make that covenant with him!!!

Thank You keith for your works. Yes indeed, Jesus is the WORD made Flesh. JESUS is EUCHARIST ! That is the only Christian WORSHIP. We have all to come back to our churches, to the mass, to the EUCARIST ! We have to re-discover our Catholic Faith, to re-discover the SAINTS of the CHURCH and their teachings. We have to change step by step ourselves in order to be more in accordance with the GOSPEL ! Because a Christian is a servant of the NEW COVENANT, not the OLD one ! GOD bless YOU and YOURS !

Keith, I thank God for His bringing you to us all. And I admire your courage in following our Lord. Thank you for bringing the Word to us, and you have a beautiful way of breaking it down. We need to be in covenant, yes. But I will say something for contracts. Contracts still exist without love. So they can act as a final guard rail when the hardships and headaches of the world tear heart and soul to shreds. The contract to still go to mass, go to confession, comply with the commandments, can keep us from going over the edge while Our Lord takes the time to heal our heart and soul and we can love again. May God bless and keep you always.

I've been able to listen 2x over as you unpacked the readings ✡️✝️📚 🕊I laughed w joy when you referenced Metallica, "Creeping Death," 💀🎸 connecting a rock n roll song to The Rock of our faith 🪨 I had no idea about this song & made me think of your conversion story & being in a rock band 🎤🥁🎧🎶 I hope many of you can make an exodus to a Eucharistic Processional. It's a very exciting & outward sign of our faith. May we continue to seek The Lord of Hosts ✡️✝️🕊💦📿❤️‍🔥🍞 14 Holy Helpers, pray for us.

"So let it be written, so let it be done I'm sent here by the chosen one. So let it be written, so let it be done To kill the first born Pharoah's son I'm creeping death" I used to be obsessed with Metallica. Another great song was: "The horsemen are drawing nearer On leather steeds they ride They've come to take your life On through the dead of night With the four horsemen ride Or choose your faith and die Oh, yeah"

Brother, after 60 years this son of a preacher and former Christian Church elder made the decision to be in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. I made this decision last month and am not yet confirmed but I am on that journey. I want to thank you for your efforts in this channel that have been so helpful to me in my understanding of the Catholic Church.

Protestant response: ““I am not satisfied with the view of those who, while acknowledging that we have some kind of communion with Christ, only make us partakers of the Spirit, omitting all mention of flesh and blood. As if it were said to no purpose at all, that his flesh is meat indeed, and his blood is drink indeed; that we have no life unless we eat that flesh and drink that blood; and so forth” (Institutes, IV.17.7). - John Calvin, French Reformer. Also from Calvin: ““In seeking to prepare for eating worthily, men have often dreadfully harassed and tortured miserable consciences, and yet have in no degree attained the end … Therefore, lest we should rush over such a precipice, let us remember that this sacred feast is medicine to the sick, comfort to the sinner, and bounty to the poor; while to the healthy, the righteous, and the rich, if any such could be found, it would be of no value.””

Hi, I will be honest, I just got done working 13 hours so I don't have time to watch this right now. I do have a question, why is His presence in the wafer and wine only there for 15 minutes? In scripture a woman touched His hem and was healed but the teaching of the Catholic church is that you are really eating His flesh and drinking His blood but you remain ill?

  • @KeithNester

I don’t know about the 15 minute thing. What’s that? In terms of healing by touching him, remember- not every person who touched Jesus was healed. It’s not magic. It’s a miracle that God chooses to do for his purposes. Watch when you get a chance my friend, but get some rest first. 13hr shift is a killer!

Where did you hear of this 15 minutes thing?. On Holy Thursday, the priests consecrated enough of the blessed sacrament to see us through to Easter vigil, ie: communion services on Good Friday. And every Sunday they consecrated enough to have available to take to the sick. I'm not saying this to contradict you. I want to understand. Thank you.
