One of their most beautiful songs. I once met a girl who knew the lyrics of most Smiths songs and I instantly fell in love. Carrie B and I drove around the Smoky Mountains singing those songs together one weekend and then it was over because she just didn’t feel the same about me. I miss her almost every day and hope she isn’t alone as I am.

this almost broke my heart.I understand. Smith songs are so gooddamn good that they get your into moods...hell...I just can't describe it. Not the best decision to get over someone, but is this what you want, hard decision I wish you the best.

@@connideee Thank you very much, Conni. I should get over her but I haven’t met anyone like her since that time about 30 years ago. Just last week, I visited a place we went to together for the first time since that time and it was sadly nostalgic. I met her because she was wearing a very rare Joy Division Komakino T shirt so naturally, I had to step out of my shell to speak to her. Years later, I chose Komakino for my license plate in hopes that I would meet her again or someone like her. I didn’t work.

@@connideee Thank you. It was bitter sweet. Sorry i didn’t reply until now because I hadn’t seen a notification. I’m okay but my human family is slowly dying off and I’m the end of the line. I have two fur babies in China but I have to stay with family now in this difficult time. I hope I could meet her again but I’m sure we’ve both changed so much and if she wanted to find me, she could. God knows I’ve tried to find her. Cheers!

I read the book then decided to watch the movie , and honestly was so disappointed ☹️ the movie didn’t do the book justice .
