I love the smiths so much omg. I don't know how to explain it but all of their songs feel like a soothing rainfall on a mildly cold night while drinking tea lying in bed. Their music is just so amazing and nostalgic.

RIP Andy Rourke. This band were just so bloody good, teenage me didn't realise how good they were, nearly 40 years on they are just absolutely majestic.

RIP Andy. Huge influence to me as a player. I will rock the Smiths for as long as I’m alive.

I love the Smiths , I always have since they started . I am from Leeds ,and I remember one day I was walking by City square ,and this man in a white van was waiting at the lights with Bigmouth strikes again playing extremely loud in the van . Next minute he gets out the van and starts screaming "I'd like to smash every tooth in your head" ,he must've fallen out with his girlfriend ,or something . I'll never forget it, It was crazy,it was Ace 🤩

I wish The Smiths would get back together again. I saw Morrissey in the early ‘90s and he played one song and then walked out. Anyways, this brings back a lot of memories. I was nine years old listening to The Cure, The Smiths, Siouxsie and the Banchees, Romeo Void, Ministry, and so many more great bands. Kids today have zero clue as to what good music is. 🧐😤

El tiempo se encargó de filtrar la música mala y dejar la buena. Pasa en todas las épocas. Ahora también hay música buena, solo que la gente se centra en la música popular para desprestigiar la calidad que seguimos teniendo (y no digo que la música popular sea mala, hay música mainstream muy buena).

@@TheGryxter My husband has a huge framed poster from The Smiths of Elvis with Big Mouth Strikes Again written at the top. He is 8 years older than I and was able to see them a couple of times in LA in the mid '80s. I have seen Morrissey a few times and Johnny Marr once but absolutely not the same as seeing The Smiths together!
