This is my first experience with them. I bought this 45 when it came out. I bought it just because I liked the cover. I did that a lot back then as did a lot of my friends. This song to me is one of Billy’s best. Then I had tristessa 45 off sub pop singles club. And then saw them live for 3 bucks. All before Gish came out. i was I into Janes Addiction,, punk and Seattle. Billy blew the doors open for a form of rock that before him I couldn’t really envision.

@@jimdavison5136 Wow, 3 bucks to see Smashing Pumkins! The first time I got to see them was with Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam and they got practically booed off the stage, which pissed me off because I was there to see them almost as much as Chili Peppers. This was before Pearl Jam put out a second album which convinced me that they had only one album in them that I'd find good.

I wouldn't call myself a serious fan, necessarily. I am an old school fan, though. This song has always stuck with me ever since I first heard it in '95 or whenever. I lost my copy of it and went probably 15 years without hearing it. It felt as good as ever hearing it again.

I own both seven inches with this on it. The original I Am One 7" and the Not Worth Asking/Honey Spider II 7" that came with the first pressings of Pisces Iscariot. What kind of fan does that make me? lol

They have enough good b-sides to create scores of records. Like every time I go on YT I find a new (old) song that I didn't know existed
Love the bass
I periodically come back to listen to this on here. :)
They missed the chance of including this into the Gish Deluxe version...

Exactly
This is seriously 'Deep Pumpkins'
it's time for Smashing Pumpkins to wise up and release all non-album outtakes, b-sides and songs from film soundtracks into 1 complete set for 1989-1998... like Soundgarden did with 'Echo Of Miles"...every fan would shell out serious dough for that

Thanks!
Eu ouvi essa música aleatoriamente em meados dos anos 2000. Passei vários anos tentando acontrá-la em todos os b-sides do Smashing Pumkins. De tanto procurar, acabei achando no KZread. E sempre volto aqui para escutar.
i’ll always come back to this one
I had this on tape in 1993 ❤️
Why's this not on Gish? I'd like Gish better if it had more songs like this on it.
only 1,141 views? this song should have a million atleast

all their best songs are so underappreciated:/ i know they're mega famous but they really could have had so many more hits
The theme song of the insecure-avoidant attached. So deep. And the voice!!
Don't understand why this song and Honey Spider II are in any reissue...
perfect , wish it was on apple music :-(
@1:45+ & @2:59+ Sublime tunes!
