Actually, IMO the best song ever!!!
First time I heard this song in 1991-2, I was high as a kite taking a piss at an amazing party and I thought "Who is this? I fucking love this! Damn this is sooo goood! LOL
I had someone tell me that they hate songs with long feedback parts. They said it's annoying. They were also upset that bands didn't sound exactly the same when they were playing live. Obviously this was a much much younger person than me who totally didn't grow up listening to Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr lol.

This song has lots of elements of what was right around the corner for smashing pumpkins. It still has the gish distortion sound but theres elements of hummer silverfuck porcelina lurking haha
Song is amazing. I’m surprised it didn’t end up on Gish or Siamese! It’s so good.
Off the subject for a bit, brilliant how the performance of acting this film was blessed with.
That feed back is crazy good at the end. Im into more advanced music today but pumpkins i grew up listening to and they always had a good technique side to them. Jimmy Chamberlin was(is) so sick on drums.

What "advanced" music could you possibly be into that exists in today's world? You must mean these talentless hacks that are around in today's world, who use software to come up with their songs. I'll let you in on a little secret, junior, that you probably aren't aware of: prior to the turn of the century, bands used to actually play instruments with their hands and sing with their actual voices when they came up with songs. Advanced music.....lol. Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.

What a surprise, another 40's + dipshit who thinks they know everything and doesn't bother to do some research. If you tried even the slightest to get your head out of your ass and actually search for modern talented bands, you would discover hundreds of artists within 1 day. Do yourself a favor and go look up animals as leaders, plini, the contortionist, owane etc. These guys are the next generation and are way more advanced at technique AND composition than anyone from your day Sincerely, "Junior"

@@wallface29 Sounds like the truth struck a chord with you, small fry, and you are obviously very threatened by the attack on the pile of garbage that is modern millennial music. So you are resorting to ridiculous hyperbole. Verrrrrrrrry credible comments you are making: some fucking band named "Owane" is WAY more advanced at technique and composition from ANYONE from "my day". I'm very sure this is the case, since you've stated so here on the KZread comments section and all. And there are hundreds more, you say? I'll bet there is. Case closed. Tony Lobato that’s about stupid if that’s true. The damn song is what, track 13? Not some hidden track or anything either like how the whole mess goes sometimes when it comes to Nirvana’s Sappy on the 1993 No Alternative compilation CD where Sappy appears as track 19 but unmentioned and remained a hidden track. Only acknowledgement I recall seeing outside the CD was when there was a special that aired on Mtv in late ‘93. It talked with most of the artists that appeared on the LP and showed either any/all of them performing whatever track it is they put on the compilation. If I recall correctly, during the credits, Nirvana has a short brief interview that shows as credits roll to which also goes back n forth btwn that and shows me performing the track ‘Sappy’ as well. For whatever reason(s), this has become somewhat of a difficult thing to find.

Boy that Wets my whistle... feedback anyone!?
I think Pumpkins are great. Sharp, potent riffs, crackling electric energy and sonic power. HOWEVER: I just figured out something else that bugs me about them thanks to this song: They're just toying with feedback and distortion compared to master artists who turned those amorphous soundclouds into crucial, meticulous stanzas of their song-poems: the Velvets, Neil & the Horse, Thurston & Lee from SY, and Hendrix. IMO.
