Something to note about Kung Lao's EX teleport in MK9 is that a glitch makes it so that you keep the armor after he lands from the teleport. So you can start or continue your pressure with armor after doing EX teleport (almost) guaranteed. That's why people use it so often.

Remember 60 frames is 1 second. Dudes saying moves that is less than 1 second is slow. Fighting games are so crazy.

That's because any move slower than 15-16 frames is entirely reactable.

I mean, the other guy is watching you intently because they want to beat you. And their finger is already on a button they can press to do another move that has a startup that is way faster then a second to interrupt you. Most moves are a lot longer then a second, but people mostly care about the startup since that determine who hits first.

I can't believe you didn't add Predator's self destruct. Not only do you have to wait a second for it to start up, you have to wait for it to go off too. That's several seconds.

Nah, Predator’s SD likely gets a pass cuz it’s less of a “move” and more of a setup if that makes sense? Like you can activate it at a range, go in for a combo, then mid combo the SD blows up and you get a continuation. I highly recommend looking up some Predator Self Destruct combos if you haven’t seen them/played him before cuz they’re super stylish

Honestly, I love slow attacks. Yea, they probably aren't optimal, but they tend to have great animations and (hopefully) damage to compensate.

I love how the acid magic lizard slime ball is still slower than a bullet. Stryker's Gun Shot will trigger hit upon casting. It's actually the fastest projectile because it doesn't actually have a projectile traveling to the opponent. It's just the bang bang noises from the gun and the opponent getting hit by something.

I always hated Sub's Ice puddle in MK9. He took forever doing it. Hell kinda every move he did took forever.

Hey Underdawg. Something I’d like to add to Tremor’s Rock Drop is that if you’re using the Metallic Variation with Lava Skin, then it does become unblockable.

For sub zero in mk9 his slow move was actually pretty useful for me , i used it when i froze someone on the ground n waited just a bit for the affect to end and do it right before it , Worked pretty great

It's great for predictions, since it can't be blocked like ice ball.

Slow attacks have to be used in strategy. Reptile for example, while you are trying to pressure your opponent, that slow ball is another thing they have to try to avoid while you have the time to keep attacking

Shao Kahn's debuffs is so weird considering Shang Tsung had the same debuffs but can activate them pretty safely, they're not incredibly fast but much faster than Shao and his keepaway is good enough to consistently debuffs them

I wish Shao Kahn’s taunts were better, maybe apply a smaller but stacking debuff for the entire match if used regularly while the EX versions apply it faster and more stacks but for a limited duration.

i looked up a guide and it says the move is called "you will never win" and I cant find it anywhere so I guess it must have been removed from the game or something

I'm an MK11JADE Main, and it's weird not to find her on any of these videos... Everything she does except the Nitro Kick, is slow...Projectile startup is pulled from behind. Pole has to extend before she does the IP Girl or baited Krushing blow
