Too bad the traditional architectures like these are going to extinct. Not so many can built & afford it anymore. Those house could be a family heirloom, inherited from their great great grandfather from centuries ago. The curves on the roof symbolize a buffalo horns. A sacred animal for the peoples to commemorate their victory agains a Majapahit empire in java, which had tried to conquer their land in 13th century.

Very touching

The monkey is used as a working animal that receives food and jungle steam baths and affection, but it does not look like it has socialization with other monkeys. I do not know much about monkeys, but maybe they should be able to socialize with each other also, like a monkey party? Great documentary about monkeys as pets and part of the family, the scene with the monkey holding the kitten was so cute.

Эта "беззубая баба Яга" на жизнь зарабатывает посадкой риса. Она отказалась от буйвола из любви к мужу. Как она улыбалась в конце фильма , глядя на обезьянку. Это ли не проявление высшей любви! А муж у неё тоже беззубый.
