As Licensed Cosmetologists, we really don’t use that chart. It literally means nothing without elasticity, density and porosity. We only use it to appease the masses. I wouldn’t really dig too deep into whatever it’s called. The numbers are only telling you the formation of the hair ie. Straight=1, Wavy=2, Curly=3 and Coily=4. The letters are only telling you the texture of the hair ie. Fine=A, Medium=B and Coarse=C.

@@acer8405 yes you could use this same technique... how ever if you hair feels a little weak you may want to do a good protein treatment and follow up with a moisturizing treatment before proceeding!!
