Thanks so much for this re-review of the 104. I'm looking to make a purchase in the next month or so and think this is going to be the one. I've just fallen in love with the design, and as someone new to watch collecting the versatility is extremely compelling. Your videos have been tremendously illuminating for someone just getting into watches. I've watched a ton of watch youtube videos, and your sensibility and taste seems to mesh well with mine. Three years ago I kicked off my love affair with automatic watches although I didn't know it at the time. My first watch was a very cheap Chinese skeleton watch with a highly polished case and angular lugs that look very similar to the Sinn 104. Anyway.....several pieces later, I pulled the trigger with one of these and it arrives tomorrow. I haven't seen one in the flesh yet so I really hope it wont continue to remind me of my first automatic.

Watching these old Sinn videos, prompted me to order the new green dial 104 today. Thanks!

As a German guy (living in Switzerland and) owning a Sinn 556i I totally agree to your appreciation for Sinn and the 104. If you really want to find a Con, I suggest the anti-reflective coating on both sides. Although it looks great in the beginning, over the time it will scratch on the outside. But - on the other hand - the outside coating can be polished away after a few years, so it's not a real issue. Since you mentioned the 556i: that's also a perfect everyday watch, it's satinized case feels like silk, the dial is awesome and it looks gorgeous on the (also excellent) metal bracelet as well as on leather. Not sure about a Nato for the 556 though. ;-) Anyway, thanks for your great videos here on KZread! Cheers, Frank

Hey TGV, really enjoy making an evening drink and watching your videos! Your reviews of the Sinn 104 led me to purchase one and I have not been disappointed. I highly appreciate quality, accuracy, and value and this watch definitely delivers! It came to me with the day, date, and time displayed for my time zone and was one second off - three days later it is still one second off! As a corporate pilot, I really appreciate the attributes of this watch. With today's modern jets, these types of watches are not really needed but are most definitely appreciated. Thanks for the heads up.

Just ordered and received my new blue face 104 on the fine link bracelet. Awesome watch. Love it. My 2nd Sinn. Have had a U1 for 12 years.

It is nice to hear reviews from a guys who is not pretentious, just gentlenmany in a classic way. I want to get my first watch and now I'm seriously considering the Sinn 104. Seems to me it would be a tribute to my hard earned money, a well made piece that tributes human precision, and good work; plus, would not break the bank. Cheers, thank you for your videos.

Hey TGV, just came across this re-review. Glad to see you got your 104i back. I bought mine based on your first review and still have it. I fully agree its the perfect everyday watch and also think its one of the most beautifully designed watches I've ever seen. Mine runs well within COSC spec of about +1 sec/day. What's up T.G.V? Glade to see you recovered well. These companies should give you stocks or free watches imo. I could of never heard of or found this watch if it wasn't for the research you do and the time and effort you put in to your videos is appreciated. You save people money and make people money. It's up to them to listen to a vet in the wrist game or not. Take care dude,water,peace.

That Sinn 104 is simply wonderful, beautiful aesthetics and perfectly sized. Might be my goal watch this year.

I have a Sinn 104 on order and due for delivery in a matter of weeks! It's my first 'luxury' timepiece, which I got for it's incredible versatility! I got mine with the fine link bracelet and already have some NATO's to play with. I also love the fact it is kind of a hybrid between a pilot and divers watch.

I love the Breitling Navitimer over the Sinn. I take it anytime. My daily beater watch is gold plated Seiko pilot watch which has more functions than the Sinn. On the way back home to the States from the trip to Europe I had a very good privilege to talk to the captain of the flight. He was very pleased that people enjoy the old fashioned watches (not a smart watch!) and he was amazed that someone actually uses a pilot watch. I told him, that it comes in handy for my work, plus it gets people's attention! Thanks for your videos!

I've had four Breitlings in my life, I still have two of them and I love the Brand. On the other Hand I need to try Sinn, I've never seen One on the flesh. Great video TGV!

I just jumped on the opportunity to pick one up NEW from an AD for well below retail. They told me that the listing price was a mistake, but they would honor it. I had to pay international shipping, but it was still a steal! Thanks for the recommendation.

Always as ever, this watch is perfect. Perfect in size, perfect in function, perfect in style. As you said in your ORIGINAL review, it's like you've got a pilot watch design, with a diver's watch depth rating. And that's so hard to find a good combination like that. So versatile. I had one, because of you. I had to flip it in a 3 watch trade several months back. But the Sinn 104 was the watch I wore on my honeymoon.

Hello TGV I very much enjoy your words of wisdom so much so I have over two nights watched your Sinn 104 review and then the 6 months later the 104 redo. Based on your advise I ordered a Black 104 on strap model no 104.110. Damn TGV that is three watches this month on you recommendation 1 Oris Aquis blue dial 2 Squale 60 Atmos with blue/ white bezel. 3 Sinn 104 Black on Black

The simplicity of the Sinn dial is just perfect, particularly the absence of huge lines of text which is prevalent on so many other brands. Seemingly the screws in the edge of the bezel are to prevent the bezel from accidentally being dislodged.

Just a beautiful time piece you have great taste in watches thanks for the video

Great review! Love the watch. I may have to get one. Been looking at 104 with the numerals but the batons seems a bit more elegant. Been also considering the 556 and a Stowa watch but the 104 is such a beautiful piece.

This watch checks so many boxes for everyday wear watch. I find myself thinking this is a must to try very soon.

Having had a vintage Tudor Sub and a (pre co-axial) Omega Seamaster GMT in the past (don't ask), I've just bought this as the watch that reflects my tastes and character more that either of those two. I have to say that the style puts both of the more famous brands firmly in their place and the build quality and packaging of the Sinn solidly competes with the Omega. Thank you very much for your professionally made videos about the Sinn 104. I don't think I'd have looked quite as hard at this brand without your influence and I'm grateful for your help in making an inspired choice. That's enough pandering for now save mentioning the fact that you would benefit from the addition of an epic beard! TTFN Grizzly

TGV - probably the only gent who will pull off a turtleneck with a blazer in combination with an aviation timepiece on a NATO strap without even bothering :') Keep up the good work, sir!

I had to get this after it's first appearance on your channel. The polished stainless steel on the inner and outer portions of the bezel really makes it pop.

I love my 104, wear it everyday on a nato. It is a really well done watch. It certainly has that "it" factor that I need to shell out money. I enjoy tool watches, the sellita movement is tweaked by sinn and is very accurate. I really think the 104 is the best looking watch in their lineup "IMHO". Not the most technologically advanced piece they make but its a superb tool. That Breitling is great looking piece.

I have had the 103 and the 903......I really think I need to try out the 104. Sinn really does knock it out of the park on nearly all of their watches. Superb quality! Another victory for the Germans!

You should consider a review of the 104 green limited edition with the ETA movement. I know you've covered the 104 a few times, but still. Love your videos!

Currently saving up for this watch. It's pretty much my grail watch right now, lol. You can call my taste modest and call me poor, but to me this watch is close to perfection.

That Bond NATO strap on the 104 made my heart rate increase.

Watching this review today with the exact same watch on a NATO. I will never sell it as it has collected so many memories, and it’s also brilliant. Thank you TGV 👍

I really like the way you like the 104! Dear TGV, I totally understand what you mean by "it's great for cooking" - hey.. cooking is an important operation that requires good tools. I watched the all your reviews for this watch because it reminds me so much of my Seiko SKA647. Anyone who likes Sinn 104, please take a look at SKA647.. Kinetic movement.. An immortal robot. A bit large but it might easily become "the large" and "the tool" in your collection.

Sinn 104 combines the two most popular watches in the world, diving and pilot. Congratulations !!! 👍

Another neat video, I appreciate the variety of your reviews! I wanted to put in a request for a future review: the Seiko SBCM023. It seems like a watch that ought to have a cult following, but it appears to fly under the radar a bit. It perhaps aspires to similar purposes as the popular SKX line, but as if seen through a glass darkly. It's part of the Prospex line, so it has been souped-up with HAQ movement, a perpetual calendar, and a real sturdy looking bracelet. Other than that, availability and info seems limited (discontinued?), so I would love to see you get up close and personal with one of these!

I had to revisit his video. Actually, I just purchased the watch. I originally watched this video months ago and have lusted after it for a long time. Oddly, at first I liked it but wasn't really loving it. As time has gone on however it has become somewhat of a watch crush, really. It had to be part of my collection. It was between this and. Stowa Classic 38 mm Fleiger . The Sinn won out.

For god's sake! Exactly when I almost decided that my next watch will be the Seamaster, you come out with a video with TWO watches that won't allow me to sleep tonight. I probably watched your older review of the 104 a million times, and now I checked their website and I found out the price is lower at the moment. Then, that stunning Breitling I didn't even know its existence!! I'll have to stop watching your videos, my friend. Just for my safety so at least for the next 78 years, LOL. Well great job indeed.
