I was very touched, a person who had never heard about our country, our culture up to this point, was touched by a Kazakh folk song, He felt our boundless steppes, our culture! Many thanks to your Mr. Marc!!! I myself have never heard this song, and do not listen to folk music at all. but today I am crying, I imbued with this song, now at home we listen to Kazakh folk music, thank you Dimash!

Even though Dimash sings and performs better than the other contestants he was too young (22 yrs old, the 1st youngest contestant ever on the show) foreigner, and wasn’t a well known singer. But that’s okay. He won the people’s heart. That means more to him than the title.

He's from Kazakhstan. His musicians are too, they're all in country garb and he's singing in his native language, Kazakh. They also speak Russian. But I like the angel analogy as well. Fitting.

Dimash is my favorite singer, he is better than the best. he is an angel, he is unique, no another one in the world......

That's a stage version of his native heritage costume..... A jaw harp?????? Cooooooool!!!.....Dimash is AMAZING! He obviously practices a LOT!!! I've only heard him miss one note! Those high notes are hard to hit! Mind blown.....Again!!!!!

This is his Native Kazakh music and language...and costume... He introduced us to his culture here.

Here he is playing the Dombra.besides the piano he also plays the drums. Dimash is true to his Kazakh culture. He is truly a gift with his angelic voice and yet so humble.

It's not always the one who comes in first that has success in the future... his talent will take him where he wants to go and this gave him a platform to show his talent. That one dude I would bet is his manager or coach. He is singing in Kazach here. He sings in Russian/German, some English (he's learning). The song he sang was in his native language of Katzhastan. If you haven't already, please, please, please listen to Ikenaida and Across Endless Dimensions. No words. Oh and do not forget "Scream." Dimash came in second only because they had a tribute for the lady that won and giving her #1 in Singer was the best way to give her the tribute. It was not fair to Dimash who came in second because of this, but he said he was a winner anyway because now he was well known for for that he was grateful. He was very proud to be able to sing this song that he did not really care what is going to happen if he win or not , was very glad that he was able to perform this song along with some local musicians in his school. He did not lose but came in second! He was the outsider from another country and was at the disadvantage! Terry Linn who came in first is really good too! He even had Dimash sing with him at one of his concerts! But DIMASH is the world famous one now! 💞
