Oh wow I bet it has changed so much. I love seeing old photos of Singapore, kinda makes me wish I could go back in time just to experience some of life back then.

Cool video. I like the more cinematic look as well, it's not too hyper realistic like most walking videos now.

It’s just straight up walking about! Keeping it simple and seeing the wonder in a short walk about. Glad you liked it. We have a few other walking videos you may like too.

Picturesque walk along the river. Place gets a little crowded in the evenings with more cyclists and strollers when the sun is about to set, so your midday walk is definitely more peaceful. But wow, the heat’s been brutal the last few weeks, I’m sure you slapped on a good dose of sunscreen before heading out😅. Makes me feel the water at the end of the clip is so inviting, you could almost think of jumping in! 😂

Yea evening time is busier but I quite like that too. People enjoying the place, switching off from work and of course the cooler temperature! Gotta embrace this heat and enjoy the walks in the day too for a different feel. And yea, suncream, suncream and more suncream followed but a lot of water!! 💦

Always nice to walk on these river banks. The Clarke and boat Quays. Roberson quay area nice too and to see the clean waters and greenery around is excellent or even better when a breezy day to catch. If you see the otters swimming playing along even better still. I think Malacca or any SEA country cannot compare here or even challenge European river banks too. Nice walk indeed

I’ve often walked past this area as a means to get to my destination but it’s really beautiful and has a lot of history, the boards around share the details for those who have time to take a ready. It’s our favourite in the evening but the morning time is quieter before the bars and cafes open

True. Early mornings fresh air is best along the riverside. Before sundown when it's a breezy day is even better. The bars cafe restaurant side too much traffic and the views blocked. Jubilee bridge walk next best thing

Hi! Loved your walk-video! I live in New Zealand, and have stopped a few times in Singapore on my way to Europe, and last year I went only to Singapore for 3 weeks (incl. a short trip to Melaka) and I enjoyed it so much. I know that walk very well, so this was a treat, seeing it again 🤩

That’s great! Melaka is so lovely too. What were your Singapore tip highlights? New Zealand is on our to visit list, it’s my dream to rent a camper van and drive about to explore your country.

@@WONDERLUSTworld, I love many different things about and in Singapore. It's so incredibly safe and there are many contrasts and still so close to each other and easy to get around. The jaw dropping architecture, all the interesting history, China Town, Little India, high end shopping malls, museums, and I loved the Peranakan Museum, Armenian St. I had Kaya Toast at Chin Me Chin Confectionary at East Coast Rd (a cheap lovely treat) and discovered that whole area. Amazing big Botanical Garden (the old one) and even the zoo and the cable car over to Sentosa and having coffee and avocado toast at Raffles Hotel and a Singapore Sling at Long Bar (very nice although so expensive). Loved all of it. And I have seen many other parts in your videos where I haven't been yet. I am Danish but have lived in NZ for 22 years, and for sure it's an amazing country, (although in the long run I find the distance to my original part of the world a bit difficult, but life is never without difficulties). What you want to do in NZ is very common for tourists, exploring the country in a campervan:) It's got very many amazing places - great variation and a bit unusual things, eg. Rotorua. I also love Bay of Islands and Cape Reinga in the north and Cape Palliser Lighthouse on the very southern part of the North Island. That coast around there has seals that come up on the rocks by the road, so very cool. And Wellington is a great capital city. Most tourists talk about The South Island, where the amazing Mt Cook is (in the Southern Alps) and The Milford Sounds, and Queenstown. All are amazing. Looking forward to seeing more of your Singapore and the other places you go. You are an amazing, very positive family, and are very good at making interesting videos. Thank you!

Thanks for taking the time to send your thoughts over. Lots of visitors recently have said how Singapore is boring, but your reply has shown easily the variety of what there is to do and the positive that yes it’s a small island but actually it means you can explore so much in one go! Not sure when my dream will come to pass with NZ but it’s at the top of the list hehe as you can see from our videos we’re also keen to explore the lesser known places and find the local life of where we visit too. Have a wonderful day!

Just don't go to the Merlion and Esplanade areas on Sundays. It's full of those tiktok dancers! They take up so much space and make so much noise. I seriously do not understand their infatuation with dancing.

Everyone needs a hobby I guess! Mid week is much more chilled I'll agree with you there. There's something lovely about watching tourists seeing the Merlion and the bay for the first time though.
