Another nifty feature I've found is that if you have a horse with the Brave trait and have a high relationship with them, you can use the interaction "Bask in Horse Bravery" and it will clear ALL of the fears your sim currently has. It doesn't even have to be your horse, you just need to build a relationship with it for this to work.

I sure hope if there’s ever a day we get full on Fairies, we can make real unicorns with actual abilities as well

I’m questioning fairies coming this year based on the whole “every 4 game packs is occult” thing and I hope for my fairy loving friends it isn’t a horrible ep version since that would be disappointing.. but I agree I hope it brings unicorns.

i still can't get over the fact that- sims 4: cats and dogs, my first pet stuff, horse ranch (that doesn't even include unicorns) sims 3: pets. one single dlc. cats, dogs, horses, SEVERAL small pets like multiple species of birds, lizards, snakes, rodents, turtles, which you can all find in the open world. actual unicorns that appear at night and you need to be friends with a cat, a dog and a horse for it to join your household

Did you know that when transforming ibjects using the simray gun from the scientist career there is a possibility of getting a mini goat/sheep? This may only be with debug on but it gave me the shock of my life while playing the NSB challenge lmao

That's cool that you got the Early Access version of the pack! And don't worry if it's a little late -- I only just got the pack myself (birthday present from my parents), so having this info is still very useful. :)

One thing I learned in this pack is that horses will get scared every time an alien interacts with them. Or at least that's what I assumed after trying to get a horse with one alien sim, and they got scared every time I interacted with them without the disguise.

Interesting. Have you checked the scared horse using the "what's wrong?" interaction (forgot the actual name of it) to get to know the cause of them being scared? Just to make sure

@@onlyabidoang Yes, I checked, but the messages only say that the horse is scared because something scared him. I also used a human sim to check, but the horses only get scared when the alien interacts with them, and this time I noticed that the horses only get scared at night and usually only when I use the petting interaction, and when the alien petting them almost always results in loss of relationship. So it could be due to the alien or due to the night, or a combination of both, I tried with a human, and at no point did the horses get scared, I even added a cowardly horse, but only with the alien did they get scared.

@@kaitlando636 I know. But all I have is a 13 year old MacBook Air and it’s already running the sims along with 3 or 4 expansions soooooooo… yea. It used to run every single one but it had to be completely reset because that was too much for it 😂

I find it's really easy to get rabbits onto your lot just by befriending them. No need to buy them, just buy a lot of rabbit stumps and there are rabbits everywhere.

I love all the bunnies even though they don't look, act, or sound very authentic (the team really did not do any research whatsoever), so I'm happy with whoever shows up. If I get nostalgic for a particular pattern, sometimes I just buy more stumps. I don't know if that really does increase the number of rabbits on the lot, but I like the effect anyway.

I hope that if we get fairies that they have a special power that allows them to put an enchantment on horses and other animals even if temporary to allow them magical abilities.

I've been playing this pack for months and I have never seen half of those features 😅 To be fair, I just played to get a champion horse once and then I got tired of this pack 😅 I love horses though, but it just gives the vibe the content of this pack should be in cottage living

4:34 to my knowledge, winning the ultimate championship isn’t necessary for the champion horse trait! your horse just needs to get bronze/silver/gold in any of the master level competitions and they’ll get the reward trait :)

New Appaloosa in Sims 4 is a reference to Appaloosa Plains in Sims 3. Both of these town names as well as the town of Appleoosa in My Little Pony are a reference to the Appaloosa, a breed of horse known for its spotted coat.

I was still busy with medschool when it was released, but it's better late than never. Not all simmers immediately buy the pack on release day because most wait for sales anyway

You can also get a ghost horse by cheats. Get the horse's SIm ID number with sims.get_sim_ID_by_name [horse's name]. Then use the cheat traits.equip_trait Ghost_OldAge [horse's Sim ID]
