The way the sims 3 is the only game in the franchise to give other sims actual autonomy outside of entertaining your active family. They’re always busy and doing stuff regardless of where you are. Just threw a party? Watch everyone drive home, or drive to work, or drive to the community pool to go skinny dipping at 11pm. The Sims 4 and 2 are great games, but the isolation of living in a bubble where other sims do not exist until you visit them or invite them over starts to make me feel lonely and bored really quick

This is one of the best explanations for one of the main things wrong with sims 4 and why it gets boring so quickly.

I know a ton of people say this but the perfect game would be sims 3 gameplay/mechanics with sims 4 graphics Edit: I’ve never played the Sims 2, but I hear it’s even better than the Sims 3 in a lot of ways! I love watching the comparison vids…except it makes TS4 even more depressing

But don’t you want multiplayer mobile pc game hybrid project renesme? Sure EA could make the game everyone wants but that would be too easy for them😂 and I’m just saying I think the game everyone wants is sims 2 kookiness, sims 3 open world and gameplay and sims 4 build mode

the sims 3 is just so thought out and in-depth, it’s my fav sims game

for someone who didn't grow up with the sims and just saw a video of the sims 4 one day and fell in love, the sims 3 looks fire, open worlds, sliders for EVERYTHING and cars no wonder people say the sims 3 is the best ❤❤

If you ever have a chance to buy it with some packs I highly recommend it! I don't play it much anymore but it's the first ever sims game that I played and still to this day it has my heart.

The only downside is unless you have a mod or you go into every household and have sims have babies, sims won't procreate on their own. So you end up with a world full of elders lol.

I don’t like how the sims 4 is a whole alternate universe, and doesn’t connect to the lore in the old games. I miss the drama..like whyyyyyyyy did they do that lol

It’s for the best. Leaving 1-3 as a perfect trilogy is preferable.

Sims 4 needs to have other sims invite you to their bday party and weddings now that there is neighborhood stories

Years ago, after get famous was released, I had a neighbor inviting my sim to his birthday, it was a disaster of a party but the game took me to their house for the birthday. It has never happened again. I don't use mods except MCCC and UI Cheats, so I think that was the game itself, it's just rare

S3 is the pinnacle of the franchise, full stop. I don't even remember any major glitches until they released S4 and stopped supporting S3. Finally, I had to quit when my game constantly crashed. Oh, but I loved it. I miss it. 😢

At least for me that’s not entirely true. I remember I had a lot of problems with the Island Paradise pack. It’s was really buggy for me 🙈 made the game super slow or crashed completely… stuff like that… but still TS3 was awesome 👏🏻

Oh the game definitely was crashing before they switched to Sims 4. It really depended on your computer. I'm sure if you played Sims 3 again on a computer with fresh parts it wouldn't be crashing at all.

I just bought a new laptop it works so good it rarely ever crashes like i think its only crashed maybe 3 times since i got it but its only when im playing in isla paradiso or bridge port those are the only 2 towns that have a bit of a lag for me everything else runs pretty perfect and smooth

The elderly girlfriend ghost stealing your sim's car and stranding her at the hospital made me laugh out loud 😂😂😂 love the sims 3 gameplay videos, it brings back fond memories for me of huddling around one computer with my middle school best friend and customizing every single clothing pattern!

Please do make more Sims 3 content! I love seeing my favourite Sims youtubers play the sims 3, it has so much more drama and chaos.

I miss the sims 2 most of all, that was my game growing up ❤ ugh love the nostalgia!!!

I remember being really resistant to switching to the sims 4 because I was upset about how much of a downgrade the customization felt. I remember having both downloaded and only really got into the sims 4 over the sims 3 after a few expansion packs came out

I literially only switched to sims 4 couse on my old pc sims 3 was unplayablebold old gpu and cpu ironicly sims 4 worked other thsn the games bugs😅 I wish we had basicly sims 3 with all festures but sims 4 face and body maybe an inbetween hair style with still asjustablebstrains and all 😅

I would love to watch more Sims 3 or Sims 2 content! I feel like the Alien abduction storyline was pretty fun in Sims 2 I recall being shocked when it happened the first time!

the sims 3 was my first game and honestly i was disappointed when i first played the sims 4 and saw how much less options there were for CAS (bc sims 3 has sliders for everything: hair color, highlights, makeup, clothing, etc plus adults have 5 personality traits instead of only 3 + there were A LOT of base game traits)

I just started playing the sims 3 again so when I saw Queen Syd upload this video I thought I was actually hallucinating

sims 3 was my intro to the sims!!! it’s soooo nostalgic, i still remember when that one futuristic pack came out it was like peak excitement. i can’t play it anymore cuz i’ve tried to download it to my current computers and it always crashes 💀

sims 3 is so nostalgic for me i love it so much and i’ve been playing it more than ts4 recently

i personally miss making sims in the sims 3, i feel like you had sooo much more freedom when it came to making them look exactly how you wanted to. if the sims 4 lets you do that (other than the close detail thing which is trash compared to sims 3) i haven’t figured out how yet but have had the game for at least 4 years. the sims 3 was just a lot more fun to create sims in, imo!

I remember running downstairs after school to boot up sims 1 and 2 on the family desktop. My favorite nostalgic Sims is definitely the second one, it was so good!

You hit the nail right on the head when you said Sims 3 cutscenes had so much heart and character. I think all the Sims games before 4 had heart and character. 4 lacks it.

TS3 is a gem of a game. The open world along with the customisation, the vast plethora of traits and personalities, the amount of explorable places, interactables and collectables, fun and engaging storytelling and gameplay, and most importantly; the wacky *humour,* randomness, and "WTF?" factor that the franchise is known for, is all something that TS4 entirely lack, making TS4 *extremely* bland, boring, and empty in comparison. TS3 was the last game in the series to still have the famous/infamous The Sims soul that made the games so fun to play. The *only* winning features TS4 has, is the more complex CAS model manipulation and the build tool, even though there are still things you could do in TS3 which you can't in TS4. I've played the games from TS1 back in the early 2000's and loved all the games first 3 games, but TS4 misses the mark on everything that makes The Sims, The Sims. Even with the glitches, crashes, (both of which TS4 has plenty of) and terribly long loading screens, TS3 is still the best 💖
