the " Homer has no brains " gag is one of my favourites, i dunno why, i just love it. the Flanders zombie one is excellent too.

I laugh every time the zombies push homer aside.

I think this is one of the best Treehouse of Horror episodes. Consistently hilarious and each segment is great. Usually there is one segment I don't really like as much as the others but this one they're all amazing.

This is one of the few where every segment is top notch.

FYI about the hot warning on coffee cups: not sure but if you’re referring to the McDonald’s coffee case, it was actually a very clever PR case. The real case was very very different than a lady suing cause she got burned. In short, the coffee was near boiling (180-190 degrees or 20-30 less than boil). It spilled in her lap causing severe permanent burns to her crotch resulting in hospitalization. She asked McDonald’s to pay her bills and they said no. She sued only for that bill for the hospital as the coffee was absurdly hot. The jury wanted to punish McDonald’s which is why they gave her so much money.

Oh interesting I did not know that. I wasn't referring to that case in particular just the warning in general because it's so dumb in my opinion.

I love this episode so much, definitely one of the best Treehouse episodes.

I would have killed for one too.

I'm shocked you didn't like the "Good/Evil" switch on Krusty's back. It's such an abrupt, stupid ending that mocks the original Twilight Zone episode perfectly. And having the line be delivered by a blue-collared Joe Schmoe who swoops in to flippantly restore order ("Here's your problem") and negate Evil is so amazing. It's a great ending. Meanwhile Producer Al Gene thinking people would think their TVs are broken because it's a Black and White segment is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

It's tough for me to pick between the King Kong and Krusty Doll parts I'm not as big a fan of Dial Z for Zombies because sadly not a zombie fan.

I understood that reference.

I'd say Treehouse of Horror III and Treehouse of Horror VI are the weakest Halloween Specials of them all. They each only have one half-decent segment. Dial Z For Zombies is good but could have been a lot better, and Homer³ is memorable for that legendary “fat air” zinger from Patty and Selma.
