I just find it Crazy that it’s harder to make a straight pass when directly facing the receiver. Instead, you’re forced to make 30-45 degree angle in order to pass it to the receiver that was directly right in front of you. There’s quite literally little to no realism in this game because this is just insane.

I think it is close to realism because mostly the dominant foot is right foot so it is easier to cut the path from that direction. 2nd is the shift of body weight can interfere when you shift your pass to other side of the defender. I see Raphinhia in real life does this a lot where he doesn't give straight passes but try to give from the other side of the defender.

In REAL football, a diagonal ball is much easier to play, you never want to play a straight ball to a straight run, trust me

Yeah the game is super unrealistic, you can tell me I make a pass to a teammate because I am facing opponent player. In football, one of the most difficult things to do is intercepting the ball because of the size of the field. There is too much green space on the field for a player of cdm to interception the ball so easily like the width of the pitch is like usual street with 22 players playing soccer on it. That's why most items a typical cdm would make like 2~3 interceptions per game and its seen world class. In fifa mostly, player do not intercept your pass because he read the passing lane and intercepted the pass but like 80 percent of the time the game just direct the pass straight to the opponent player like he was the intended target. And sometimes too, right after making the intention to pass, your own players would shift their position and hide behind opponent players so that when you make the pass your opponent wins the ball. Yes read that well, your own player will hide shit his position behind opponent players to let them intercept the pass so unnatural. Why is that 90 percent of the time blocked shots or shots the hit goal post will still find the your opponent player not matter what for him to shoot again. More than even 90 percent of the time. I know others would argue but remember it's the same AI that's helping you make the pass that is also helping your opponent win balls. The game is super unrealistic.

@@issakakamal2801well that’s the thing it’s a video game not a simulator so it’s not targeted for hardcore fans or players that want it as real as they can get but this is more for casual gamers to have fun and some friendly online competitions but not once have they tried to say this game was trying to be completely realistic

This does not work when defender can out run/out muscle your attacker. I used this trick in Fifa 23 to death. Here, you need a good passer like Modric and strong sprinty attacker like Adama. My gold Coeman was getting useless with more powerful defender cards like Harvetz who can reach Coeman and easily cut those passes.

And im sitting here and always blamed the game 😂 now i know what i did wrong... thx bro

it's just player ratings. I'm in div 3-4 at least couple of years, unless you're absolutely legend in fifa you can't occasionally beat worse players that has icon packed teams. they just press x as hard as they can when attacking and it causes two direct pass to their forward. when they're defending they just wait and it mostly works unless you're proficient with fifa moves and etc. hard to admit but it's mostly a pay to win game for a regular player.

@@Dominater-tc3ed it's L1 that you need to use. R1 calls a player close to you for support. You can trigger runs by holding L1 while you're passing to someone. This will make the PASSER make a run forward after his pass. You can also aim at any of your players on the pitch with left stick and press L1. This will trigger a run by that player. You can also use the "directed runs" mechanic. It's the same as for triggering a normal run, by pointing at a player and pressing L1. Then straight after you let go of L1, you can flip the right stick in any direction to set a path/direction that your player will run into/towards.

Look at this unrealistic thing. So when you need to make a quick through ball to create a scoring opportunity and/or when you are been pressed so hard but need to make a goal scoring through ball you waste time finding an optimal angle. It is what happens in real life football? When the De Bryune is is making a through ball to Haaland he needs to create an optimal angle before? This game. The thing is EA wants to make most normal things in football so hard to do. The thing is, the default setting in the game is that the through balls should always favour your opponent players. That's it. Remember the AI or the system that helping you make the through is the same system that's helpings your opponent win the ball back so obviously if they cant apply a help opponent-win ball back idea to a normal pass then it would be applied to a through ball. Sometimes you just see this is an obvious through ball that should be going to your player the game would direct it to a wrong location for your opponent to win the ball. That same case, ignore the through ball button and use the normal pass button and the game would send the pass to your player.

The worst thing about these gsmes these it that most people spam things iver and over you can't even enjoy the game, there is no skill gap people who can't play use money to buy overrated players, i wish it can be restricted to only buy 4 superstars in your team

If the other team costs more than yours u can find all the angles u want, every pass u send will be intercepted bc all their players will move at 99 speed somehow. Thanks EA
