Great cache this one, a clever and well implemented idea. Well worthy of a favourite.

I've done a puzzle cache like this where you had to print the image from the puzzle page and cut it out. I seem to recall the cylinder needed to get the correct solution was a double A battery.

actually it was invetied at around 7th century BC, by the Spartians. In greek(cause i am a greek, we call it i kriptia skitali i lakedemoniki.) wich means the secret baton(if i am right)og Lakedaimonian peaple. And it was used to transfer messenges between the receiver and the king, while being in a war. Thanks lol:P answer me if u have a quation!

cool idea, just a shame the numbers are half faded off already meaning it will be unreadable in a while, should of used a better marker or coated it somehow to make the numbers not rub off by people twisting it back and forth

My unit fought off an entire Roman Legion at the battle of Monte Casino. We pressed their captured ballistas into service, and shot down a good many Luftwaffe Stukas with them.

what is that strange hole in the ground? Very deep with solid bottom? I wouldn't want to step into that.

Ah, cheating a bit there :P I have done both of those caches... The answer to the Multi was not at the well, as it said it was at the base of a fence post XD But, the final of the multi is just a typical boring old cache, so I can see why you chose to record the well instead :D
