Excellent historical and Biblical evidence clarifying the message in Matthew 24:15-35. Those passages have always been confusing to me since part of it seems to refer to the destruction of Jerusalem and part seems to refer to the end of the World. Thank you for pointing out the true meaning of the passage. I am always understanding more of the Bible when I listen to you. God Bless and have a good week!

You are right Jan that many see a dual prophecy here. And that's the way I've always heard it preached as a dual prophecy. However, as you've already heard in the sermon my interpretation is being restricted by the internal markers which seem to repeatedly point to a single prophecy followed by a recapitulation. I think the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem are much more significant than modern Christians understand. Blessings Jan and thanks for the encouragement.
