The thing that I really like about it is that throughout most of the show Walter wears a cheap calculator watch which represents both that he's very smart but also that he doesn't have a lot of money, while Hank wears a G-Shock, which also fits him well because he's a little tough and all that. While they wear a very different style of watch they are still both Casios, indicating that while the two men are very different, they both come from the same place, they still share a little something, whether it's family, moral values, or something else. It isn't until the last season after Walter kills Gus and becomes the boss that he gets the Tag Heuer, indicating that he's no longer the person that he was, he no longer shares that with Hank, he's no longer a family man trying to be a criminal, he's a criminal trying to be a family man.

BB was a masterpiece of a show and it amazes me they went through the hassle to find and use writers who can do a good job. It shows and I'm thankful I got to experience this show with my family as it released.

Agreed. Wonder why no one(very few) have done the John Wick watch. It’s been in all four JW movies, is subtle, what’s more, all the bad dudes wear Bucherer too. Interesting from a marketing standpoint.

It seems very perfectly orchestrated but the reality I know from first hand conversations between associates within Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. Aaron Paul actually bought the watch, perhaps for himself, from what we know, and he personally used the Monaco on the series. It's unknown to me whether or not he gifted the piece to Mr Cranston or if he only gave it to him in the show.
