To be honest there are other islands in Caribbean who's pride itself on cleanliness as T&T what's makes Trinidad very unique from the others there not one tourism all inclusive resort its mainly an industrial island with 46% being forested

There are countless rich neighbourhoods in Trinidad which is scattered through the country, some places you just can't enter unless you know someone and have access because of it being gated communities. Just like in every other country there will always be the wealthy parts, middle class and the poverty stricken. And people we need to stop this childish comparison about Trinidad and Jamaica we are one people lets uplift and support eachother.

You guys sound so kiddie with this fighting over which country is better. I am a Jamaican but living in the USA. I have been to Trinidad before. Both countries are great. Jamaica has more to see because it is a much bigger country with a lot of nature-made attractions. Trinidad’s infrastructures are more advanced/modern than Jamaica. However, both islands have great people who are proud of their own country. Fighting about which one is better is not a good look at all.

To be fair it's mainly Jamaicans always doing that under every country video and making it a competition. Most other Caribbean Islands don't get into that competitive stuff about who is better. Most of the time we're just defending ourselves from the Jamaicans who can't seem to see any other Caribbean Island getting any shine, but Jamaica. It's like Jamaicans always have to keep telling us "small" Islands that they are the best. I love all my Caribbean People and we could all be great in our own way. No need for competition.

The upscale areas in T&T are indeed nice .However most people live in many decent middle - class areas in the north, central and south. It is a mix of private and public development. It can range from some gated communities , individual houses, condominiums to apartment buildings. There is a big middle class on the island really. The working class can be found in mostly ( not all I daresay) in public multiple housing.

I like the new place, nice building too. Woodbrook used to be a nice quiet area back in the day. Trinidad has very nice homes… The area you saw had mainly condos but there are homes in that area too. Just passed there heading towards Carenge on the right is Goodwood park. It has lots of beautiful homes. Pass that park on the left are more homes and condos. There is a yatch club there too and some people have yatchs off their properties. There are many suburban areas around the country with big beautiful homes.

@@warrior-xd2xn please ignore those Trinidadian with their negative comments. It's the envy, Jealousy and bitterness in them coming out. Life is too precious to entertain such one. Yet Jamaicans shine , loved and respected worldwide, so don't waste your energy taking on these low life, that comparison God creation, it's God that formed the Earth and established it and place people where they are supposed to be born. Shut out negativity.
