tbh tdx shotgunner used to be good in only 2 modes(easy and elite); and now can be used to speedrun early game on all 4 main modes and used as a lategame healthpack in endless.

@@atFanta Its not trash, its still usefull fo hardcore, atleast for wave 25 and on.

I probably put it in a low a tear because the fact that it's just a lot more expensive and it's not as good early game still good it's just better options like Warden or something like that

I recomend using shootgunner alongside commander to make up for his slow firerate

I used the militant when it still had the reload feature, nothing is stopping me from using this.

I wouldn’t say a huge nerf, more like a rebalance, the extra starting attack speed is great but I miss the starting dmg

It was logical, he costs only 4200-ish coins and he was better than every golden early tower AND gladiator due to extra range, huge damage and easy to get hd

Maybe B ranking because of the huge nerf, not alot of dps in late game, leaks quite easily, I dont think it needed a damage and firerate decrease. It was good becuase it had something that no other towers had, good early/late game, cheapish and splash, but now its just cheap and has splash.

Also level 2 has no lead detection anymore.

Also shotgunner lost lead detection on level 2 which is very bad in hardcore(

Great,now my Hardcore Strat that needs Shotgunner for early defense now got a nerf,now I won't be getting 38 Gems:(

So... I tried to find the fomula of dps per cost ratio (Damage / Firerate) * (1000/Total Price) or (Damage / Firerate) / (Total price/1000) = Dps per cost ratio *this is the fomula I used btw* but the problem is that the number is always slightly inaccurate

I think its actually better than before lol Also btw you were using it wrong, it can still carry till wave 9 without leaks, you set one to last and one to first, you were setting both to furthest which is why you leaked

@@SomethingBoutEclipse yes but in the video you can see when the zombies pass through the shotgunners, they didn't target the ones in the front, because they are set to last or furthest, they could have been dealt with if corso just set them to first for a moment.

That's similiar to ace, ace was just meta for everything as an early game tower, 10 placement limit, 1st 2 upgrades were somewhat cheaper, despite changes being small, it really put it away, now shotgunner was just as good as g scout, so yeah, both towers got their nerfs deserved, but it's sad that they got them.

Shotgunner nerf is messed up, they should've at least made it so that DJ Booth increases its range like actually this time. DJ Booth increases its detection range but not its damage range.

Nah,if u grinding on 2020 you will know,and during the overhaul update I'm still stupid when don't even know how to grinding fallen mode,and I don't have any friends either so its just a solo match you know during the Halloween event they only have 5 different mode Normal mode, molten mode,fallen mode,hardcore and Halloween event The time where cowboy got nerf only give u 70 or 50 cash which it mean i can only use commander farm dj and ace pilot for ealry def
