Man, this was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!! Please continue to produce more of these videos. Do you have a video with the same explanation Out of The "I" Formation?

I appreciate it! I don't have anything specifically on the I formation, but in my CoachTube course, I draw about every run play from some form of under center to start with. I generally prefer the Offset I to the regular I, though.
Love this formation scheme! You forgot to mention you can run 4x1 passing concepts if they try to box you just move the F over on motion to the flats, or even place him between the tackle and guard. A lot can be done with this. Edit: I caught that you did mention this right at the very end. 😊

@@criticaloptimist7961 Gotta save the best for last! 😎😎
How many snaps would you line up in this formation a game? I really like bubble motion from the backfield to draw the attention, opens up a lot of space through conflict.

Really depends on the opponent and how much we feel we can be successful out of it.
My favorite formation! Film?!

I hope to be able to share some game film next season!
Also, any reason you run the slot receiver on the line and not the outside receiver? I prefer the slot being free to motion, gives it some symmetry, but interested if you have a different view

In my offense, if we have a true tight end and true fullback in the game, the Y is on the ball because I want a blocking body that can go in motion (F) and a receiving body that can as well (Z). I do think defenses, cornerbacks specifically, get really comfortable with always having the outside receiver on the ball though, and I think having the ability to have the outside WR motion can force CBs to get uncomfortable with no time to adjust before the ball is snapped. The Rams and Dolphins did a ton of that this season, with a lot of success. I'm hoping to breakdown some film on here in another video of outside WR off the ball stuff. It was pretty happenstance in this video specifically, but I do feel like there is a lot of meat left on the bone by always having outside on and inside off.
Best people or resources to study for shotgun split backs formations and plays?

What are you wanting out of it? Spread & Pro Style stuff like this or more of a Gun Split Back Veer or Gun Wing-T stuff?
What are you using to draw these plays up?

This is the Freeform app on my iPad. I use it plus an Apple Pencil for drawing stuff up, and I love it!
