Well EA was confirmed to be one of the worst gaming companies that just want money. It scares me sometimes to be reminded that EA does own Need for speed and can do anything to it.

Well the game was made in 6 months lol. Just like Rivals.

One of the most underrated games ever. I had so much fun in this game. A Racing game with a Decent Story. NFS run was like Uncharted of racing games. I wish they made The Run 2 with a longer story this time. I play this game almost every once 8-9 months , as a perfect Saturday Night game.

the run imo was their most realistic driving experience, graphics were beautiful, would love a remastered and enhanced version, or a sequel, that never ends, has speedlists, and maybe even an open world

Throughout the time trial section at 19:32 Theo is praising the cinematic music done in this game and how dynamic it is Well the dynamic cinematic music was actually composed by Mick Gordon, who also did compositions for NFS Shift, NFS World, NFS Shift 2 Unleashed, and a trailer for Most Wanted 2012 Though he's more known for his work on the 2013 reboot of Killer Instinct, the modern Wolfenstein games, and the modern DOOM titles So in short the man who composed the track that became the "When DOOM music kicks in" meme, also composed for this game

@@spektacles1927 would've never guessed the music for 2 completely different games was done by the same amazing composer. Never even knew about Mick until 2016 with doom.

If they did a new Run game they could pick up where this left off I'd actually love that. But in Europe something crazy.

I would love this type of a game with more suprising elements and scenes and with 20+ hours of story

NFS Run was part of my childhood, the amount of times I replayed this and the amount of joy I gotten from playing this on my PS3 is countless

this is the only NFS game where you can actually say "this is the run" in a speedrun

The run was one my favorites

need for speed the run is short but intense, i love it

A second part of this game could be fantastic but a much longer game because yep this is the shortest history on NFS franchise but exciting story with different scenarios and that was a nice achievement for this game

The BEST (to me) NFS. I'm biased towards track racing and having to go against time along with other things. At first, I was disappointed that it lacked customizations even tho the body kits look good tho. But that doesn't matter to me anymore because THE HANDLING, THE SOUNDS AND THE SPEED IS PERFECT. The graphics aren't even bad at all. The part of the game where you pick between an Aventador, Huayra and a 918 looks so good. I wish challenge mode had more races, I've finished the game on its hardest mode countless times, and got platinum on every challenge races. Love this game for real. I still replay the challenges to beat my own platinum time. Few things: The inconsistent volume is what happen when you have it towards film experience as the game lowers car audio to focus on music audio. The broken audio in general, is because it's running >30fps

My first NFS I have found memories of this

NFS the run is based on the real event called the cannonball run. It’s where people drive from San Francisco to New York in the quickest possible time. This game is the GOAT and one of my favourite need for speeds.

I love how perception of games shifts. I remember when this came out and dont think heard of anyone saying positive stuff about the games

Just come across this channel yesterday why have I not come across this before? In any case the run was one of my best need for speed soundtracks and fitted with the cross country style. Gary Clark Jr and Black pistol fire were fantastic on this the same as Disturbed and static X suited most wanted.

The Run has my favourite story, cinematics were outstanding! The driving physics were absolutely great and need to make a comeback.

The challenge series of this game was an amazing fun and also played the game in extreme was a lot of fun too only to achieve that pagani race car ....

You know it's good when the first 5 minutes is just you trying not to die

The fact the music was done by Brian Tyler who also does fast and furious music/score.The Run and Fast Five both came out in 2011 thats why the music sound similar.

The run was my favourite nfs back in the day ,, ovs underground 1-2 are the classics top tier but the Run was a good game . Nice to see it get some love after all these years ... even online was pretty fun ..... if there was a remake/remaster this should be it 😊✌️

I’m glad to see someone else who enjoys the run. I beat it in 11 hours with multiple resets. I still play it today.

I always liked the handling because it makes you focused on your turning, braking, and acceleration, another reason why I think they need to remake or bring back Need for Speed Prostreet. I love Prostreet because it's more in-depth and it really dives in the realistic world of racing and how it should be

Seeing as how im just now getting this game started on 360 ivw beat everything except the last part of the run and almost everything on the challenge series i just cant get past the k & n series and two medals missing on lost serpent pass and tunnels and trains i just cant beat those two races to save my life ! Anyways great storyline for a NFS game !

Thinking about how short this game was, I was like "Damn, this was an entire year's NFS" but actually NO... This was the same year we got Shift 2 Unleashed (towards the beginning of 2011, The Run was towards the end of 2011) I'd love to see some more linear, 3 Hour long NFS "Racer Boi Stories", using the assets of a current release between the 2/3 Year gaps we have between main releases now 🤔

I would love to see a cross between The Run and Split/Second.

Actually the 2015 server which are required are the EA servers, but the online ones are different. StraightUpHippo made a video on it, he explained it in more detail.

nah i saw a senna and its just really low, but its still very long and wide, and the one i saw had a widebody: it was the saber senna. but in the surrey area too, around cobham, you see a cool car like every 50 cars

The race around 2hours 30 minutes in, took me like 45 tries the first time I played on the highest difficulty. Seriously one of the hardest portions for literally 0 reason
