The Shooting Show -- 100 pigeons with Geoff Garrod and rifle zeroing tips

With England making headlines in the cricket, we've sent the Shooting Show team out to get a 'century' of our own -- but there are no bats and balls in this one, just pigeon decoys and Eley shells. Pigeon guru Geoff Garrod is the man leading the attack, and he's invited Clay Shooting magazine's Wes Stanton to swap the clay ground for a day in the hide. Wes's Miroku and Geoff's Beretta soon have the pigeons on the ground -- but the question is, can they make a bag of 100 before the day is out?
Meanwhile, Byron Pace is on the range investigating methods of zero. With ammo, chronograph and a bag of flour (yes, really) in hand, he sets out to make the case why zeroing high at 100 yards is a good idea for stalkers.

Yes - English Skeet in 1995; he was part of the winning team at the Home International in Northampton that year.
Phil Bailey from Leek Shooting Supplies, in Leek, Staffordshire, UK, came 3rd in Canada, what an outstanding result for a young man who runs his own shooting suppliers at the age of 19. Bloody well done Phil.
Great filming yet again, many thanks to everyone involved. Roll on next Wednesday and Monday for more films.
Good shooting and great video. Keep the videos of Geoff coming would love to see some gamekeeping ones in the future.
Good show and Great News about the FAC and shotgun Certs all in one,,ATB
Hi Chris. Not the case actually. Everyone should protect their hearing, moderator or not - especially on the shooting range. Having already damaged my ear with a 458Win Mag in the bush, I am extra careful now. The Hardy Gen 4 (don't think Gen 5 exists yet...) is a moderator I rate and use myself. - Byron
Hi Nick. Its a cover available from RifleCraft Ltd - Byron
Great talk on the zeroing, a lot of wk tho. If you zero at 200m you have a 2.5 inch kill zone from 25m-200m spot on for foxes
great video ,nice bit of Pigeon shooting
Great video

Did Wes pick up that shooting ensemble from Grace Brothers? Next time could we have him properly dress with a cravate, by his MG GT, holding a pint of Ruddles?
Cheers Byron, I'm looking for a mod for my new browning a-bolt tct varmint. It's going to be my varminting rifle, so could potentially have a fair few rounds put through it in a session. I liked this mod because its very light (as you will know from I using one) the Brownings in .223, what so you think the noise reduction will be like ? Compared to something like say a T8 or sonic 45, another mods that's also very good ?
@byron: that looks like a homemade moderator... Is it? How is it manufactured?
Hi, what rifle is Byron using?.
Is Byron using the new hardy gen 5 ? I was thinking of buying this mod but don't think il bother if he's having to wear ear protection when using it !!! Must still be quite loud :(
Byron , what have you got covering your moderator ? Please.

it's even more sad that your only hobby is pointlessly commenting on fieldsports videos. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
