It (the scriptures) didn't only say he (the snake, who is Satan, the fallen angel, morning star, shining one) bruise Jesus' heel. The scriptures go on to say that He (Jesus) will crush his ( Satan) head. "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will crush your head, and you will strike His heel", GENESIS 3:15. This only means one thing that Satan will be completely and comprehensively annihilated, he will (and already is) defeated altogether. When Jesus was crucified, Satan metaphorically bruised Jesus' heel but Jesus Christ was raised from the dead three days later. Hope this explains things better and makes more sense as it is the TRUTH.

Also when you mentioned the life of Adam and Eve there is an Islamic tradition that expands on that about satan bowing down to Adam but the Islamic twist is that Satan was such a monotheist that he could not bring himself to worship anything other than God even though God gave the order so it’s a paradox in that way

First stop listening to Heiser, second start reading your bible. Why would you want to ask Heiser anything on what God has planed from the beginning, he is no authority on God. He uses the bible and makes up stories surrounding biblical stories, so we eventually believe him and reject the inspired word of God. All those things you mentioned are coming and Heiser is part of the strong delusion that people are given over to (by God), as they have no love for the truth. Don't be deceived, believe God only, not man. Man is not divine that is a lie from Satan and what false teachers like Heiser teach.

I said "always", but in the back of my mind were the two counter-examples I could think of. One is that lost sheep, the prodigal son. He cast himself out but was brought back to the fold. The other was John the Baptist, who welcomed his younger cousin as the promised Messiah he had been preparing the way for. You can't help but wonder what could have happened if Cain had welcomed Abel's contribution, instead of scorning it. If Jacob had worked together with Esau instead of despising him.

I was under the impression that demons were the disembodied spirits of the children of the fallen that died..either through warring with each other or the flood.

There were other bipeds in the Garden of Eden other than Adamic man. One of them was called "Nachash" which means someone who speaks in a wisper with a hiss.... but was misinterpreted as "serpent" because serpents are known to hiss and he was cursed to crawl on his belly for the rest of his life. There is another "Ishnachash" who lived around the time of King David. Dr. Heiser was a very smart person, but he was fallible, as we all are. He is ignoring The Book of Enoch because the Catholic Church withheld that book from the bible. We must always remember that "The Bible" is a product that is assembled and put out for sale by the Vatican. Vatican City and the Catholic Church are ruled by Satan (conducting just a small amount of research proves this). Apparently Dr. Heiser never figured that out, which is unfortunate. The reason that the Book of Enoch and other scriptures are kept out is because if people were able to read all the hidden books and scriptures then they could figure out what is really going on in this Earth realm that we are in. Satan and his priests are hiding truth from all humans to tilt the game in their favor.

He is acting like he is not even aware of it. Why is he doing that? I know he is aware of it. The bad one looked like a man until it showed itself then it literally looked like a serpent in a man’s skin. Egyptian statue stretched skull detached jaw black eyes. Sucked it’s feet into its body levitated and moved like a sidewinder. The good one looked like a short black man that was emitting yellow light. No interpretation no prior knowledge of scripture. God is not confused, we are. The serpent is an immortal animal. Genesis 3:1 that ate from both trees. It is also called the dragon and was known to Daniel as the abomination that causes desolation. Jesus met the serpent for the first time in the Gadarenes but it was the serpents second encounter with Jesus. Look at the conversation between Jesus and the serpent. In the "City of God" by Mary of Agreda, who supposedly received private revelations from the Blessed Virgin Mary (and also the Lord Jesus), the angels were shown their destinies, i.e., what they were meant to do, what they were created for. You are believing a Jewish Fable. Why in Noah's Flood account nowhere does the Almighty punish the angels or so called nephilim? His Anger is with MAN! In the Hebrew Elohim can refer to nobles or kings which are fully human. This is confirmed by the Jewish Encyclopedia from the Targums.

Dr. Michael Heiser has been my teacher for some years now, God rest him, and I learned a lot from him. Elohim CAN NEVER imply or mean human agency. It strictly and specifically means Divine being or spirit. Do some more research, because it was wasn't until long after Christ was here in the flesh, that jews changed their own theology and such things. You're wrong.

That is not true because God says, He will not share his glory with another. When Moses said, shall we give you water God told Moses you are going to die and Aaron as well. Now God may have brought Adam into heaven or in the garden he told them Adam was his creation and Lucifer was jealous of Adam because God had a creation he 😍 loved and created. But if that guy thinks God would tell them to bow down to Adam that is not in God's character. We are created beings we bow down to God. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess.That is such a lie. Maybe Lucifer was angry that the anointed cherub was not as important to God. But that is not why Lucifer was thrown out of God's heaven. He wanted to be God and take over God's throne. He was trading on heaven's floor to get an army to take over. So Satan was jealous of Adam just because he was God's creation. Satan is a liar and the father of lies. I know that is not true because , 'Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me. Moses prayed for the people, and they confessed their sins and repented; there was a complete change of thought and especially a concentration on the one life (represented by the brazen serpent) to which all must look to be healed. When we turn our attention within and concentrate all our thoughts of life on divine life as manifest in Christ, a harmonizing and uplifting process sets in throughout the organism. The life force is no longer dissipated in sense sensation, but is conserved and concentrated at the various nerve centers. Through the action of the mind in prayer, faith, and meditation, the life force is transmuted to higher forms of energy and the whole man is lifted up. This is the way in which the body is spiritualized, and through this method man will finally make an immortal body. It says " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life,and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." It also doesn't say to trust everything religion teaches without question. It says... 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

The authors are guessing. And according to the actual originsvof the Bible, they are guessing wrong. The " serpent", which in Hebrew is NACOSH, also and predominantly means SHINING ONES. The Nacosh was offering the humans to be as the gods by having consciousness. That is the knowledge of good and evil. As opposed to being SERVANTS to WORK the "GAR-DEN". Actually, the one labeled 'serpent' in the garden of Eden was not a literal smake but was an actual god, one of the elohim. Second, he did not lie to Eve nor did he deceive her. She did NOT die that day. The deity you call God was the actual liar, and it was proven when he spoke to the other gods, telling them "now the humans have become like us, knowing good and bad (evil)." Thus the representative 'serpent' DID NOT LIE ('god knows that the day you eat of that tree you will become as the gods, knowing good and evil'/. This so-called 'serpent' was actually a prince, and the brother of the old testament god who knew his brother had lied to Eve. Who is the real satam here? Who is the one in the bible, especially the OT, who was doing all the killing? Who determined to bring punishment upon even future generations for what took place in Eden? When David committed his 'crime' with the wife of Uriah, who was the god that, as punishment, killed the 8-day-old baby born to that union? When 'Satan' supposedly challenged Job's loyalty to god, despite Job's enduring loyalty and faithfully, WHO accepted the challenge, thus causing such pain, death, agony and frustration in Job's household, killing his children, livestock, servants, and then being stricken with infectious boils from head to foot, causing so much distress and agony that his wife, seeing his intense suffering, blurted out for him to 'curse god and die'.
