How about letting the glow plug heater light go off, before you try and crank it.

it's a car with a "start" button. On renault at least, when you push the button it start the glow plugs, and when the glow plugs stop it immediatly start the engine

Renault Kadjar is very popular car in Moldova. The author opened the door very easily :)

The shocking truth about this car is 170.000 kilometers, probably is time to invest money and replace some glow plugs, or fuel injectors, fuel filter, also it's time to stop topping up with cheapest diesel

And as others have stated also at least let the glow plug light go out before you start cranking it.

he didnt let the glowplugs warm up enough

Could you please help me, in my city there is not that much cold and my car (the same kadjar with EDC tranmission) the sar starts smoothly but when i satrt to move the engine stalls and stops. As far as i searh, may owners suffering the same fault especially with cold start in winter seadin. No fault in ecu stored

2016 Kadjar exactly the same problem but no fault codes so problem cannot be solved. so annoying! gone are the days of proper mechanics who could diagnose without sophisticated equipment.

Because it was -14, and in gas tank was regular diesel
