First of all - a HUGE thank you is in order to each and every one of you reading this. So many of you shared last weeks video with your friends, gave a thumbs up, and left so many comments that we were the 22nd most popular video on ALL OF KZread last week! Seriously mind-blowing, thank you again for the support on these videos! Also, we are seriously SO relieved that the windows and doors are OFFICIALLY finished for the container home, it's been a stressful few weeks and having another huge win off the to do list feels incredible! What did you think of how this project came together?? The upstairs living room completely transforms the project and we couldn't be happier with how it's turned out...now, time to get moving on the exterior. One rain storm and the house is going to be filled with water! 👀

for me, the significance of getting the windows in, the upstairs door relocated AND the entry door completed and locked is that the boundaries of your home are fully established. You guys just created your home's sacred space. ✨

You know what's fun? Going back through the videos and watching all the big moments - with hindsight! That's how I spent my rainy Sunday in Ontario. Also, my husband and I have been married 36 years, and (at least for us) the double entendres really never do get old!

Congratulations, guys, it is for sure a relief to have the windows and doors in. Because my husband Al and I built a 3000 sq. ft. home for our two sets of parents years ago, we are pretty familiar with the stages of construction and what issues are greeted with cheers when they are completed. Of course it is different for a container home, but the feelings of passing milestones are quite similar. We are so proud of you two, showing the world that us LGBT folks can do anything that other folks can do. When I had such big and cleaned windows I had to put stickers on them to alert birds that this wasn't a fly-though.

Tyler and Todd, this house (soon to be home) is stunning - all of those windows letting in the natural light and the view OMG, I got quite emotional just watching it sink in for you. I am excited to see how you are going to decorate (especially at Christmas time, I'm sure Todd is going to get the biggest tree or multiple trees - he is so mischievous) the inside making full use of all the views. I see a revolving recliner or those hanging basket chairs in every corner just to chill and take it all in. You guys are doing a wonderful job!! Watching Todd with the door handle was hilarious - this was my best episode. Reminds me how recently the knob on our main entrance door locked me in the house (we currently have only one door for entering due to renovations) and I couldn't get it sorted by the carpenter who originally installed it. It turned out it was very simple even for my non-carpentry brain and there was nothing wrong with it except that the locking mechanism had come loose and slipped out of place. An expensive exercise since I had purchased a new door knob at the carpenter's recommendation - I hate reading instructions (impatient ADHD) so after figuring it out for myself, checked the little pamphlet which showed simply (with pictures) how to get it done - it was frustratingly funny in the long run. Your furbabies are also going to have so much fun (especially Lily if you put in a run for her in the tower), that podgy girl is my fave (I love black kitties, have an elderly gentleman, and two youngish tuxies - they are so affectionate). The boys are so huggable, and the chips I find with my girls and the little old man are a firm favourite, never shake a packet in my house unless they are locked out (including the kitties) so that I can enjoy mine in peace. You guys are my favourites, so open and honest about your lives, it is fulfilling to watch your journey.

Weather tight, will be a good feeling and it all looks so beautiful. The window install was very nerve-racking but once it was completed worth every moment of anxiety.

Congratulations once again - I can't wait to see the view once you are moved in! It has been such a huge undertaking and I am so proud of you and for you. As much as I liked your videos of being on the road, there truly is no place like home. :) Onward and upwards... also I love how Lily has 2 names. It's the same with my cats - I have their given name and their nickname, Lazarus is Laziboy and Maggie is Weenie One. I named Lazarus after a biblical character because he literally rose from the dead as as kitten and Maggie is also known as Queen Magnolia. They both answer to "treats"

So glad that adjusting the frame of the window worked so yall didn't have to wait months for a new one that was smaller. Its coming together bit by bit.
