If you want to base characters on me and someone else, like VERY loosely based. We’re talking basic personality traits and quirks/interests. I suppose? It's hilarious how when Sarah has Larry propose to Mr.Smalls instead, he just says yes without her writing it in and somehow has a wedding dress prepared.

This episode really accurately describes how insane the shipping community can become. And as someone of that community who is considered tame, I feel it so much! It's insane where I can see a relationship where there is none!

A few things you probably didn't get, is the purple looking darwin and gumball with wings poorly drawn are basically poking fun at all the unoriginal gumball oc's. Some people actually got kind of mad on the internet but its the internet so yeah. The Gumball x Carrie thing I was surprised they got because basically it was a crack ship made YEARS ago and somehow like a thousand fan fics spawned from it with mostly teenage gumball and carrie. The last one is just the creepy humanized incest shippers.

Not really. Those Gumball OC's were actually real and made by someone on DeviantArt and that's why people got mad. The creator responded with the fact that they were ramping up stakes and that their reactions weren't at the art being bad but rather at the fact that it would probably be pretty weird if you met another version of yourself.

It's mentioned that Darwin is Richard and Nicole's adopted son so... People are shipping Gumball with his brother. In my opinion, that just sounds wrong and illegal.

As an animator, this is actually really fun to watch. You can tell the animators had a good time. And seeing your horrific reactions made it even funnier 🤣🤣

To be honest, the most chaotic episodes haven't been seen yet. For instance there's an episode where Gumball gets sucked into an RPG and names himself MYBUTT and robs his neighbour; an episode where Richard almost destroys the world by getting a job and an episode with a zombie epidemic in the school.

The show is diegetically a cartoon. Cartoon logic is their normal. Nobody can die, nothing is permanent, pain is comedy. You may as well be confused that Willie Coyote doesn't die when blown up with dynamite, Tom and Jerry can piece themselves back together when they shatter, or Pinkie Pie deflating like a balloon when she's sad.

The van and entity inside remain a mystery, but the gist of him is that EVERYTHING he sells looks normal, but has reality altering properties Also, with the notebook, we see how literally everything is taken, so half of these stories were probably innocent enough, but got RUINED.

This is my favorite episode in the entire series because of how wild and crazy it got. I can’t stop laughing every time I watch this.

Finally.... Scarring Matthew McKatthew is always what the entity wants

I actually comment this two times but, Here are some episodes that would be interesting to see your reaction. -The Recipe: I dont know why this episode is not so popular but I feel like it's one of the darkest episodes and most underrated ones. -The Trilogy of the episodes, The Hug, The Awkardnes, The Cringe: Definitely the most uncomfortable episodes of the show. I don't think you'll get over these. -The Slap: if the others episodes you watched didn't traumatize you enough, this one will. -The Joy: this episode traumatized many. thats all i just gonna say. -The Pizza: This episode gets so surreal. And it explains a little bit about Larry and his jobs. -The Shell: a heartwearming episode with some pretty memorable scenes and character development, You're going to like gumball in this one. -The Void: I'm sure it's already been recommended but it's an incredible episode.

If gumball ends up getting more seasons I feel like we need some expansion on the awesome store. I mean he’s been responsible for so much stuff that happened in this show, and we still don’t even really know what or who he is and where he even gets all this stuff from. Plus he’s basically almost ended the world a few times and he’s only getting the cops on him now? Also, if he had an notebook that could bassicly make him god by just writing one sentence, why is he even selling this stuff. In fact, why is he selling any of his things if he could just use them to take over the entirety of Elmore! Why is he just selling them to randos instead? So many questions, not enough answers.

This doesn't really make it any less strange, but I hope you find comfort in the fact that the cloud and the giant are the same age

As obvious as it is that strange things go on in Elmore, it’s people aren’t able to ever notice because The Void/Elmore itself keeps the characters from noticing when characters, items, and events are erased or introduced out of nowhere. It’s a really interesting story actually. Gumball is just truly an experience that you can’t get anywhere else.

14:18 we were shown how she tried to use metaphors and they happen literally, so at least a few of those weird results are not intentional on her part, just the unfortunate consequence of what she wrote hapening on the most literally way posible.

Gonna be real, when I was in 7th grade, there were so many instgram pages of shipping kids together. Like, actual kids from that school, and I knew who they were cuz they were in my class. One of the most awkward things I've dealt with 💔💔

To answer your question about Darwin having a crush on the ghost: yes, and no. In the episode "the words" he calls the ghost, Carrie, "an emo freak", but that was actually WAY before he had a crush on her. His crush on her was confirmed in the episode "Halloween" where he’s turned into a full ghost and kisses her, and in one of the episodes they start to date. So in this season, this was after they started dating, they were dating.

As someone who writes/reads fanfiction there can be a lot of body horror (especially in angst) Scaramouche x dottore from genshin impact is the most obvious example I have

No, we’ve seen references to other characters purchasing items from the Awesome Store (Leslie and Penny in “The Console,” and Rob in “The Disaster/The Rerun”).

I love watching you react to thinks like this mainly cuz I find it wild on how much it jarring to you, while me and everyone I’ve known to watch gumball is just chill about it and find it hilarious
