All the stops were pulled out for Fischl's story and I loved every minute of it. It shows that it doesn't matter whether your character is 4 star or 5 star, they will all eventually have their time to shine.

Release on 2020 as a 12+ game. We can imagine it goes darker and darker as the core audience grow older.

Fischl's castle music is what made me realise actually how sad her backstory is. It feels soo childish at first but the emotions she had with her dreams are quite real for her...

It amaze how Hoyoverse manage to bring about so much depths in a character from the decade-old Chuunibyou architype... making Fischl so unique and standing out.

19:04 It took almost two years for der Prissezin to get her place in the spotlight again, and it was worth every second of the wait. "Die mittsommernacht-fantasie" having the mix of Fischl theme song with a whole new song was divine!

I don't think Fontaine's music will be anything like that of Fischl's domain. Fontaine seems to be 19 century and French inspired, while everything about Fischl's music is German Baroque of the 17th and 18th century.

I think Fontaine’s music will resemble more Chopin’s, Satie’s, Ravel’s, Méreaux’s and Debussy’s whereas Fischl’s domain is more inspired by Bach, Strauss, Dvorak and older composers

Monas domain was my absolute favorite, and the music only helped to add to that. U can literally feel the weight of all her stress in the pieces, it’s almost suffocating. Honestly it was so captivating bcuz of that reason, her domain was so beautiful and aesthetic, and yet the music contrasts in a way that takes ur breathe away, like wow.

Finally! The GAA domain themes are out. They’re all so good. My favorite has to be Xinyan’s Burst Into Flames. The combination of rock with traditional music really describes her character so well!

I love the music Genshin creates! They put lots of dedication into their game, nice work!

I love how Xinyan's ost is so related to her character. Like, she is adding her own colours (rock n roll) to classical and traditional music and it sounds SO amazing!!!!! Really, the superb work that is done with this game's soundtrack is extraordinary.

Mihoyo's attention to music is amazing in general, but they really went all out on Fischl's domain music, I even turned up the volume and intentionally engaged in battles just to hear the battle music more. There's so much complexity and character!

I simply love to wake up to Genshin posting such beatifull videos that fills us all with tears, because the music is simply so beautiful😭

Keep in mind that this is not real German what the Chinese put down (though it's a lot better than most google translate hilariousity). 1 First is more like "day song of nocturnal thoughts" 2+3 second "erster Satz" is a musical term, the first part of the song(?) I have no knowledge of music theory. 4 Folkwang does not make sense at all in language, so I too guess it's a refernce to the Asgard place. 5 that looks like medieval German. You could be right with "A little bird, after well done work" or on that line, but I guess it would be "a (little) bird, so beautiful" - "getan" here not "tun" / "do". Or nice singing, something like that.

A "tagelied" was something like a lyrical verse in medieval times so i think "tagelied of nocturnal thoughts" might fit it more Folkwang would either be folk field or folk hall so i guess its "the folkhall's song"

Xinjans domain theme deserves more recongition. I love how they adopted an older song and added traditional chinese instruments to create something new. I really enjoyed listening to it in the game. Great Job

speaking as an appreciator of classical music, Fischl's music from this event is some of the best that has ever been in the game i was taking a short break from the game during this time while waiting for Sumeru and coming back to hear this music completely revitalized everything about GI for me now, here i am again listening to this baroque masterpiece during the Fall wonderful!

@@BigTablee My only gripe is that while Genshin's art&music are top quality, and while the lore is really good, Genshin's "here-and-now" storytelling (the story you actually see on scree as it unfolds) is super inconsistent. It can be good quality, but it can also be low effort and low quality at times. It's almost a coin toss.

These tracks exclusive to this 2.8 GAA event have made it really special. Each domain and their music feels so personalized and expressive for the characters they're supposed to represent. I also really loved how instead of switching to a different piece when you entered battle in the Xinyan domain and disrupting the flow, the music just intensified and maintained that momentum (just like in Nier Automata). I'm soo happy we can listen to all of it right here and right now!

Flickering Brightness was so amazing! It really surprised me and I just paused my exploring so I could listen to it. All of the characters had such good music but that one made me really happy for some reason

Fischl and Xinyan battle themes are just mind blowing

Chill as always..

I would have loved these songs if I didn't have to hear them on loop for 2 hours tryings to figure out the puzzles in the mirages. All jokes aside, the guitar solo part in Fischl's battle theme music is insanely good.

Here is my translation of the German titles: #01 Tagelied nächtlicher Gedanken - Dawnsong of nightly thoughts (From Wikipedia: Tagelied (dawn song) is a particular form of medieval German-language lyric) #02 Traum durch die Dämmerung, erster Satz - Dream through the twilight, first part (Note that "dream" is a noun here) #03 Traum durch die Dämmerung, zweiter Satz - Dream through the twilight, second part #04 Das Folkwanglied - The Folkwang song (According to Wikipedia Folkwang is a palace in Asgard where Freya lives) #05 Ein vogellin, so wol getan - This is a line from a poem, "Slâfest du, friedel ziere" by Dietmar von Aist (from WIkipedia). Translated to German: "Ein Vöglein so schön" Translated to English: "A bird, so pretty" #09 Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie - The midsummer night fantasy (Likely a reference to Shakespeare's A midsummer night's dream)
