I think you've confused this channel with Sony Pictures Television (that shows Shark Tank eps). I've done that before too but I unsub's to Sony 'cos of the rest of the crap video's they post which I wasn't interested in. This is the first time Calm Strips is shown on this channel. I really like how you suggested episodes for them to post though 'cos it's the first I've heard of those before.

He has to pay himself if this is a full time undertaking for him, pay salaries to any employees he may have, storage space, shipping (he said he doesn’t charge customers shipping), pre-orders for inventory. All that takes money. What I understood his statement to mean was that he’s not looking to make a huge personal profit/gain, and that he created this product out of his belief in the good the product can do.

This company is vital to me. I have ASD, and these Calm Strips really work. Robert is my favorite shark; his investment will really help others bring calm everywhere.

I don't even believe that the deal went through in the end. The Calm Strips website looks like it hasn't been updated in 10 years even though this episode aired in late 2021. They're also selling 5 strips for $9.99, so they're barely making any money on them. This couple made all of their money because of the fidget spinner trend. Nobody is purchasing fidget spinner products any more, so their sales have likely dried up too. I'm surprised the sharks didn't recognize this. Of all companies that appeared on this show, aside from the obvious scams, this one deserved a deal the least.

This didn't make sense, Robert wanted 35% and then settled for just getting back a 3x return instead of 20%? I'm sure this is one of those deals that fell through after it aired.

Only in a country like USA do these things work. These things might help for a short time, but eventually you would want to learn to redirect that energy. Most successful people I know were born with excess energy; they went from fidgeting to getting work done.
