Filmed over 8 weeks, Vintagetrains’ annual summer sunday “Shakespeare Express” service from Birmingham Snow Hill to Stratford upon Avon and return. As usual there were two return trips from Birmingham Snow Hill to Stratford upon Avon each day as well as the Empty Coaching Stock move from Tyseley Steam Trust to Birmingham Snow hill. This gave me
The opportunity to get up to 3 shots of the train facing the right way each day. The rostered locomotives this year were Tyseleys immaculate pair of double chimneyed Castles, 7029 “Clun Castle” and 5043 “Earl of Mount Edgcumbe”
The footage has been edited to reflect on the journey the train takes from Stratford upon Avon to Birmingham Snow hill where the locomotive is leading the train smokebox first, with a total of 21 shots.
