The Shadow TV Show Pilot Episode "The Cotton Kimona"
The Shadow was a very popular radio program that began airing on CBS in 1930. Two attempts were made to adapt the character to television. The first, in 1954 and the second 1958. Two episodes were filmed for the 1958 production, but never aired. They were eventually compiled into a feature film, "The Invisible Avenger." Pretty good thanks for posting this old series "The Shadow" was pretty good.
I wonder why it never went to production? A little slow-paced, but it's not any worse than anything else on television at the time. Still, it was fun to see the hero in action from the radio show my dad loved as a kid. Thank you for uploading!

Pretty impressive special effects for the time. However, I don’t remember Lamont Cranston having a mustache.

Tom Helmore was an odd choice for The Shadow. He looks like a cross between Tom Conway and Michael Redgrave. The Shadow needed a better budget and more impressive SF then early TV could provide. B-.
