I am an immigrant and in the past I worked @ convenient stores and once at a gas station .. man it was very lonely .. virtually impossible to make friends ..working hard, underpaid, unappreciated, life seemed at dead-end and many act as they are giving me a free money for allowing me to come to thier country and not counting racist customers (and prejudice coworkers /bosses) .. people did treat me as apu lol . They .thought I am not interesting, with no hobbies and with no personality ..and forget about dating lol ... Also it gets even harder around the holidays .. so I encourage you all to invite immigrants you interact with to a Thanksgiving dinner or something ..learn about new cultures and meet people from outside your borders 😊
