I just returned from Girona. I was not cycling this time but will do next time soon. I live near Nice, France so I will drive with my own bike. ESC and SC are different. The ownership has different objectives. Do your research. Don't forget BikeCat for tours. Do your home work and of course good and courteous service is important especially in a strange town. I was there at Christmas and only ESC was open. They were great, even my wife like it.

My girlfriend and I did the Calpe Training Camp with ESC last Feb/Mar and it was phenomenal. They picked us up at the airport in Barcelona and drove us to our hotel at no extra charge. We lucked out in that unfortunately a few people had to cancel last minute, so we only had five of us total in the group, so we had a little more freedom for the week. The tour leaders made the trip as well as the roads in Calpe. We were hoping to come to Girona this year for Sea Otter Europe, but the pandemic put an end to that. We cannot wait to go back to Spain and ESC will 100% be getting the nod for another tour. Oh, and I'm pretty sure one of they guys in our group was the first one to use that Factor you used :) Hope you're well, good videos!

Great review for a place that I wanted to know more about. Liked that you contrasted two very distinct options.

Thanks, I'm so happy I had the opportunity to do this review! Girona is a magical cycling destination and if you ride a 56cm, definitely go TSC!

I have traveled to the Pyrenees with eat sleep cycle and I would recommend them to anyone. Their service and logistics was second to none. I have not tried the store but next time in Girona, I will. And there will be a next time purely because of the experience with ESC.

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I did like ESC and will return as a customer when in Girona, you should eat at le fabrica when you go the food is excellent. Did you check out my interview with Amber Meier, owner of the service course and le fabrica, it's very interesting how and why she opened it. Best Kevin

I rented at 58cm from Service Course, so not sure why you couldn't. And you should have talked about the Enve and Zipp wheels that come standard at Service Course. Yes Eat Sleep rents great bike but Service Course bike are a level above. All of this said I always bring my bike to Girona. I rented a steel Bella, nice bike for gravel.

Ronald Noakes Hi Roland, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. The only bike they had in 58 was the Fara and my friend said it wasn't a great ride and only the custom bikes have Zipp and Envy. With that, I loved the Factor O2, with black inc wheels it was a good deal.

From personal experience I believe that Eat sleep cycle is the place to go, I have no experience with service course, but because of the treatment they gave me, it was top notch

Mattias alou I did feel that ESC did have good service, just not the same as TSC, but both places do take care of their clients! Plus, your in Girona, it’s all good!

Just curious how you did with your keto diet in Girona - the food looks amazing from your first video, but I'd hate to limit carbs there...What did you do? Great channel BTW. I'm in SoCal.

Adam J. Story, DC I was hardcore keto until Spain then I ate and drank everything! Today I am keto-ish and low glycemic with two cheat days. Keto is a little too hardcore for me I need cheat days! Best Kevin

I never understood why it is important to Americans to get “good service”, and hear “hi” from an attendant at a store or restaurant. Americans seem to find “good” service more important than good products. Restaurants for example. The US has one of the worst foods you can find in the world, but hey, the waiters pretend to be your best friends to get your money in tips, and that is that matters, right?
