    I know this has absolutely nothing to do with this particular story but I'm having a hard time finding a way to send you a story request. My friend Kady Wilt was murdered in 1996 by her boyfriend. She was 14. This case has got twists and turns and has never been given the attention it deserves. He shut his headlights off so she and her friend wouldn't see him coming and he ran her down just before she was about to reach the safety of her home on her street. Busted out of this house arrest bracelet to do it. Sorry to just leave this request on some random story but if anybody could do her story justice you could. Also I just wanted to let you know that you are the best storyteller. I listen to all your channels and I pretty much listened to every story you have more than once. Thank you for being such a big part of my day.

    @@whippersnapper8387 Let's see, a calm, capable and smart guy who criticizes the cops rightfully and does it even when it puts him in danger especially since he lives in a region which is known to shut down the public which scrutinizes the government. Now let's say this guy is a serial killer, why would he try to make himself involved on a case where he got away with another murder perfectly? Why would he even connect it to a serial killing? Why self report? ok scrap that, everything else is pretty convincing right, well.. The cops arrest him after planning it for a long time, getting a lot of 'evidence' against him, and then the reason for him to hunt everybody was bcz he was angry and wanted revenge? Ok at least they could prove he's guilty in trial-.. oh wait he already conveniently drowned in a bucket? WITH 3 PEOPLE IN THE CELL? You simply cannot argue that a man could voluntarily drown himself in a bucket of water without alerting 3 people in the same room, it's literally just impossible, your mind can be convinced but the body tries it's best to make you stay alive. He was assassinated pretty openly. For the evidence part, he knew something that only the cops knew, ACCORDING TO THE COPS WHO MURDERED HIM. He lied to the cops to throw them off in the investigation. ACCORDING TO THE COPS WHO MURDERED HIM. The DNA samples matched thus proving he's the killer, ACCORDING TO THE COPS WHO MURDERED HIM. The only part which could work in your defense is all the victims being cleaners close to him and his family, but that could also mean that he was perfectly framed for the murders from the start. So yea highly unlikely he was the serial killer

    I am from the country this story originates from and first of all I want to thank Mr.Ballan for everything he's doing, I absolutely love this channel and it's good to see him cover a tragic story that has happened in our small country. With that being said, I heard about this story a few years ago on Bailey Sarian's channel and it unlocked a deep memory I had forgotten about because this happened when I was very young and it was all over the media, but since I was so young I couldn't really remember all of it. And that really peeked my interest, so I started questioning a lot of people to remind me what exactly happened, and also people from Kicevo, and what they thought about it and oh boy...was it something. A lot of people speculate that Vlado might have been framed (again I this is not my personal opinion, because I was very young when this happened and I can't put my two cents here, and I am not in the police force, nor the forensics who were working on this so I will never know for sure), But in generall, some people SPECULATE that it might have been a cover up for someone else, who couldn've been an important person, or from a rich family or whatnot, and also another effective way to get rid of Vlado, who has been a thorn in everyone's eye for a while. If anyone from Kicevo or Macedonia in general happenes to stumble upon my commend, I would really love to know what you guys think or know about this case. I'd appreciate it if you could share your opinion or knowledge with me

    I also think he was framed. Because the details which were not revealed to the public was actually being given to him by an inside man in the police force. And DNA can easily be swapped if you know who can be corrupted. For me, he was not the killer.

  • @_NokiPlays

    @_NokiPlays

    I am from Kicevo but I was born about 2-3 months after the arrest so I'm not too sure, but it could be, i mean DNA swapping is done even in big countries where security is much more increased, while in such a small country it is definitely far easier, though at the same time, Vlado might've just had some mental illness, but about the "suicide" he FOR SURE hasn't drowned himself, I mean, just try to hold your breath in for a minute and you will see it is impossible to do it, your body will just control you and take a breath, it goes the same for drowning, your body will control it's way out of there, so his cellmates or someone had to have drowned him, ITS JUST IMPOSSIBLE to drown yourself while you can easily get out.

    No way Vlado didn’t plan to get caught. This has serious Zodiac Killer vibes. It was all a game to him, essentially taunting the police in his articles with all the details of his crimes. He wasn’t trying to misdirect them to think it was someone else; that was my first thought when I asked myself “why would this guy report on his own killings???” I wholeheartedly believe it was just a big game and he was taunting the police for not having caught him yet by calling out their “incompetence” in the first couple murder cases. That is a cold and evil individual, almost like a movie villain. Great story, and even the mystery behind Vlado’s death in jail adds a whole new layer to it I’d like to look into for myself. THATS good storytelling, my friend!

He was well respected and no one picked any strange vibes off him for decades, so the shock of him beings a serial killer was huge. Then again, two women were murdered in that town after his demise that means he wasn't the killer at all. I had a gut feeling about this. He wasn't the killer at all, he was just framed and murdered by the police for exposing their incompetence. You may be right about it being an officer, that or it's whoever owned the car that Vlado reported about. That fact seems pertinent with how the police are trying to sweep it under a rug and claim it's a lie. I think it's certainly someone well connected, they probably requested he be killed since he was getting too close to the actual murderer.

    💐💐💐RIP Mitra Simjanoska (aged 64), Ljubica Licoska (aged 56), and Zivana Temelkoska (aged 65) you will truly all be missed and my prayers go out to you all and your families. 💐💐💐 Vlado Taneski (1952- 23 Jun 2008) (aged 56) was found dead in his shared prison cell on June 23. He had apparently drowned in a plastic bucket of water. An inquest concluded that, in the absence of other evidence, his death was suicide.

    An interesting and intense story to cover is the story of Mike Oros, a gokd nature man who walked/hiked to northern Canada to retreat from society and to see if he could survive in the wilderness. But long stints of solitude led to him slowly lose his mind retreating further and further eventually becoming a skilled woodsman serial killer. He wrote down his everythought in journals because he thought the Government was trying to erase his thoughts

    It’s awesome that someone is willing to help the victims. It would be so easy to be like most, and just utilize other peoples’ stories, then move on. This foundation is so very unique. You see lots of foundations for disease, or veterans, or even domestic violence, but rarely do you see one for people who are like the ones in these stories. The pitch at the end made me think about how many people we just forget about the moment we get through hearing about them. Hmm

    I think media was pretty crap back then. There are some disgusting cases in the UK where I live in recent years I wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for true crime youtubers. Most cases in the media involve children (and I completely understand that) but older victims seem to be ignored. It's horrific what has happened to them, but at least someone wants to tell their story so that they aren't forgotten.

    Be careful complimenting people on that kind of thing. We don't personally know Ballen although I'd like to believe that he is nowhere near as bad (but we don't really know) as the really rich and/or famous are about it. They love showing the charities and foundations they give to but never say how much taxes it saves them from paying. I'd love to have the tax incentives done away with and see how many foundations and donations get made afterwards. I bet it's closer to zero than you'd think. No I'm not saying all are like that. But most are.

    @@brianallison1913 It’s unfortunate that you’re poisoning the well and implying his Foundation is for the sole purpose of a tax benefit. Yes, John Ballen is doing well yet he’s chosen a 401C3 foundation. It breaks my brain that he’s now being attacked due to his success and creating a foundation. To succeed after serving your country is now apparently a sin in the eyes of former military veterans. You would rather there be no tax incentives to foundations? If that be, let’s stop all philanthropy too.

  • @brianallison1913

    @brianallison1913

    Like I said, I'd like to believe that he started one due to actually caring for the cause. I'm not attacking him but am just saying we don't know him. Bill Cosby was loved by millions and look what happened. And yes definitely do away with philanthropy. If philanthropy helped so much then why are all the causes they so generously give for worse than ever (Education, Illness, developing countries, etc)? And I do respect that Ballen was in the military. However, I'm not one to be thankful because I never asked him to and military people need to understand that serving doesn't put them above (Ballen doesn't act as such) everyone else. After all, my tax money and the labor I put in to receive it pays soldiers and buys their supplies.

Instead, he was found dead in a cell with 3 other guys who "didn't notice anything was going on". Think about how hard it would be to kill yourself by forcefully and consciously drowning yourself in a bucket of water. Your survival instincts wouldn't allow you to do it. Someone would have to forcefully hold his head underwater for him to drown. After that all cases were closed and there was no investigation regarding his death. I think he might have just pissed off certain corrupt cops one too many times.
