Un4sakenSoulja, it's actually not too difficult to make your own printed circuit boards. Learning the software has a small learning curve that KZread videos will get you through. The PCB companies will cut them into any shape you design, and they'll even supply and solder all the LEDs onto the boards for an additional fee.

Leandro Escobar thank you bro 🙏 I really hate the whole system of college and school in general, so I’ve set out to do exactly what you said, only better. I’m building classes that normal people can take, no need for taking math as a pre req, and constant access so you can learn on vacation, learn on the toilet, learn in bed, etc. I’d teach at a college but that’d limit me and the students with barriers we don’t have to bother with online 👌

Damn Chris these are so dope! Game changer is right. It can be so complicated trying to do something like that that's not encumbered with switchback modules and relays and wiring, more wiring and problems. I need some of those in my rgbw sequential box right this second!
Can't wait to see the finished result. Great work & love your shows. ✌

Hey Chris awesome video. Would like to see one with the pod style. The new web site is very user friendly and has a great layout. I wanted to know what kind of led’s did you use on these panels? They look hella bright. Also when you order the boards do they come with the led’s?
Can you get these presoldered with the resistors and leds? Like the old power led strips you could get from Exled? Then its just a matter or cutting/splitting the boards apart, reinforcing them, and soldering on extension wires as needed? Like working on 2 piece tails (2013+ Ford Fusion as example)
Hey Chris! Sweet video. These new LED strips look awesome. How tough would it be to shape these into a circle? I'm thinking it would be sweet to try to make some custom tails for my 04 Acura RSX-S. Thanks for the informative vids!!
Skilled hand the solder stuff that small✝️🇺🇸👍 thanks for the video
Wish Corsomotion website had more info. What size are the boards? LED specs (beside just 0.5W) or datasheet? They need to give a bit more info!

I'd like to do something with my 2014 Sprinter headlights. I've seen some really nice, uncomplicated designs on KZread.
You think this would work for circular taillights? Like for instance a r33 gtr? Been looking around for nice led tail lights and zleds are about the only option I see for quite the expensive price.
great video, you need to use solder paste and reflow in a toaster oven - way faster
Please make that video of individuals soldering of LEDs to the boards!!!
Yes I'd like to see the "how to" on soldering up the lights! Also, general lighting question: I have an older truck and the wiring at the tail light has 3 wires for 1 bulb. Black= GND, yellow=tail light/12v, and the third wire controls both blinker and brake light. What's the best way to get a separate signal for brake and turn signal if they're both the same wire? Trace the wires further up the loom until I find where they're separated? That doesn't seem like the best option because a 4 pin trailer connector will allow a "tailgate light bar" to see separe signals for brake light and turn signal. I'm having a brain fart. Could you give your opinion on the best way to get the separate brake light signal and turn signal? Much appreciated
@flyryde
4 жыл бұрын
BLUEFEATHEREDOLIVES oddly enough the Gallardo needs the exact same thing for these tails, and the solution is actually what you described, a trailer wire converter. It breaks up the signal and brake into individual wires.

@@flyryde sounds great thank you! I'll stay tuned. Some of the ones I'm finding are mislabeled, others are only meant for going from no trailer plug to a 4 pin, rather than converting the 4 pin and splitting the brake and signal. Regardless, I'll wait to hear back from you soon!
I need those chris
I would love to learn how to do that with my 91 Camaro. I think it needs sequential lights and turn signals. Any advise?
I am surprised they don't sell the boards pre populated. You might look in to dealing with an electronics assembly contractor and have them populate the boards for you. There are robots that can place the parts on the boards. With a solder mask, a pick and place machine and a proper soldering set up these could be churned out cheaply. I used to work for an electronics assembly contractor. I would recommend a shop to you but I have been out of the industry for 20 years. I don't know if it is still done in the US.
Quick Question on these. Do these still require a sequencer or is it built into the circuit?? I'm excited to play around with these and was wondering if ill need to pick it up as well! Thanks!
Those DRL's going to look sick man love it 💚 I pray for those people that are dealing with the virus hopefully there will be a medical solution that kicks the virus butt 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Chris what is the amp out put on the parking/brake module. I made custom Caddy boards but not everyone wants Ghozt.
Chris, what LED elements that you are using on these new circuit board that you soldered on.
Theres a safety reason why the brake lights dont go stay dim and then the turn signals blink at the same time over the dim. They have to power off the dim and only blink on bright. So the people behind you. Especially in the daytime can see youre signaling to turn. I had aftermarkets in my rear thay stayed dim and would blink at the same time. Cant tell you how many times i almost got rear ended or had people telling me they couldnt tell i was breaking or signaling to turn. Same as the front turn signals. The white turns off so that the yellow blinks and oncoming traffic can see that
I want to see the tiny board build
Can we please have an updated walkthrough video on wiring these to the ghozt module and also how to make them plug and play to a factory wiring harness? Or does anyone know where I could find info on that
@flyryde
4 жыл бұрын
Matt Jacobo at its most basic, the ghozt modules just have a ton of little holes you solder wires to, and those wires go to the LED like I showed on this video. In my training classes I use all the header pins and connect with a ribbon cable crimper to speed things up and keep it super clean 👌
