The sentinel in New Canon via Rebels is much smaller than the ones in most Legends EU material, much closer to the ANH Special Edition model, but gets a rear cannon similar to the Lambda which it is now only slighty bigger than. The old EU model shows up in Rbels as well in the hologram from the rodian cyborg's head.

I want one! I'd turn it into my man cave in space :D Also this channel has a lot of quality content, I'm surprised I never came across it before! Keep it up man!

@biostemm interesting generalization, the tie defender and millennium falcon were stolen, but not Darth Maul's ship's like the Scimitar & Night brother 🤔 he has to dead for them to be salvaged.

@@darnellsmith363 yeah - we don't see any sort of key or code cylinder required. Heck, young Anakin was able to hop into a Naboo fighter and take off, (though that was probably r2's doing). I wonder if, besides droids, people in the Star Wars universe distrust automation to such a degree that they'd risk their vessel being stolen...

Great video as always 👍. I know this might be a small detail, but in the intro to the game Force Commander a Sentinel is shown taking off after deploying a trio of AT-PT's. I had a look on wookiepedia and there's no mention of how many AT-PT's it can carry, though. 🙂

I do love the other version of sentinel where it's supporting ramps opened from the sides. Unless that version of the ship is to be like a rival to the lambda class shuttle

@@hyperspacedatabase Kappa was clearly intended to he the Lambda's predecessor and was created before Shadows of the Empire and the Special Editions added the Sentinel to lore, but ended up more as the Sentinel predecessor

It is such a standard ship for the empire, it is such a shame we don't see it more.

Do u think the cockpit section cud eject in an emergency..I think the lambda class cud do that.. so wud save higher ranks!? 😉

I think that would be a cool feature, no doubt! I'm not seeing any info that says it can, but it might be a feature that isn't mentioned.
