But overall I think the staging wasn't the best and they also used pretty wide shots for the performance which kinda added to the whole mess. I wish they did something more similar to what Luna has shown in the music video

Should have made a national final, where she either wouldn't have won anyway, or if she got through, they could have given her vocal lessons and an easier choreography (or no choreography at all). And I was actually neutral in the Justyna vs. Luna debate, as I could have lived with both of them going to Malmö, and I rightfully predicted that they would be sending Luna because there's already 2 other witchy songs in the semi-final, but let's be honest, who can sing and dance? Maybe Justyna wouldn't have had these vocal issues, even if they forced her to dance. But on the other hand, maybe Luna just lost by a couple of points or even a tie break.

Croatia and Ireland were EPIC. I'm so happy! 😄 I'm hoping for Croatia to win on Saturday and for Ireland to do very well. But I'm already so proud of both of them regardless. Their journeys to this week have been crazy. Can confirm: Probably a little niche? Which is sad since a lot of Aussies are praising Electric Fields for the indigenous representation, it's not every day you get to bring a culture and language to Eurovision that they've never heard before. I get that in this context it was used incorrectly, but "the" is also used in a positive way to praise sth, eg "the one" meaning it's unique, amazing etc

So, testerday I figured I have 2 type of friends. Ones who didnt get the notifications joke and 2 of them that were laughing out loud screaming "thats Grinder notification sound!". Then everything went quiet for the rest of the evening, lol

Just relieved slovenia qualified, but sad for poland would've swapped it for finland, the performance wasn't great but it was fun and more memorable, and Luna is so sweet.

Yeah, I'm glad for Raiven and sad for Luna, but her vocals were almost as bad as Olly's, so I get why it didn't make it, but why do you guys think that Finland or even Luxembourg (which isn't even a joke entry, but of course hated and even attached with conspiracy theories about their participation and speculations about them getting a free pass, because otherwise they'd drop out next year, which is ludicrous, they definitely would have come back, at least for a couple of years, had they NQ'd) shouldn't have qualified? I really don't get the hatred. Both of them are deserved qualifiers. Their skngs are catchy, and I often find myself singing along to them and / or their songs popping up in my head.

@@in_wino_veritas despite Poland's vocals, her performance was just more memorable, I didn't feel very interested about Finland because it was almost exactly the same as the NF and was hoping there'd be something new and the vocals weren't special, but it's more of an entertaining performance than a competitive one

@ethanwoolley7570 Yeah, the staging was definitely memorable, but they shouldn't have forced her to dance around on stage. Just walking and then stepping up on the chess tower would have been enough and would have had a better impact on her vocals.

bambie thug originally had ceasefire and free Palestine on their face in the Celtic language. i love their performance so much, I hope Ireland is proud. I'm so happy finland got through, they know how to eurovisiion and bring so much fun. croatia or Netherlands are the ones I want to win...oh and btw kaarjia is performing at the 2nd semi finals!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAA
