I practiced today and only focused on the hand positions from the video. I was really surprised at how much the ball moved without me trying to hook it. I would be considered to be a cranker, so it was really eye opening how many revs I was getting on the ball without even trying by just changing hand positions and letting the ball do the work! Thank you Chad for sharing your system.
I have been bowling for a year and a half and I have been lost for most of it. I can say that watching your release has shown me and taught me so much. I have it where I can watch it real slow. I watch others but yours is complex and simple at the same time. My interest in you has lead me to Spi pieces. So don’t stop with the instructions. Give more if you can. Thank you.

you can change the playback speed on the video right here on youtube. hit the gear button.
One of the better instructional videos you guys have ever produced. Well done.
THIS… was a much needed and much appreciated video.
Thanks Chad for this vid. I just tested The Road during a matchmaker event and I was floored at how responsive this ball was to hand position changes. It’s so ridiculously versatile that it looked good from every zone. The Road doesn’t directly replace anything in the bag for me, but I had get one drilled up because i can leave out one or a few balls and The Road could give me the shape I’m looking for with just a few physical adjustments. Really impressed with this one- it’s basically the Swiss Army knife of bowling balls.

So glad you 🩵 it!
This is a nice tool for new bowlers to see as well, they can see little details of a bowling release
This is sick.
This ist one of the best instructional videos I've seen in a long time. Very well explained. I never though about making an axis tilt vs. axis rotation table, but it is a very nice idea! I will test this out as well to make my arsenal even more versatile without adding 9 more balls.
Great video, will definitely incorporate this into my game
Thank you for the great info
I have an old surgically repaired injury to my wrist that makes really cupping the wrist pretty much impossible without weakening the grip. But I can get 6 out of the 9 variations without too much trouble. Thanks for the video to kind of declutter my thoughts on releases....
I haven’t bowled competitively in 5ish years. I wish I had the chance to know this info when I was bowling a lot…..
That is a super informative video. A great explanation and love being able to see the difference in in position. This will be great for my kids!!!! Thanks for a great video.

For non copyright music I personally like neffex they have a lot a different kinds of music. Also good video
Do you have any tips for a to had Bowing or something
great info for a house bowler
For a Asym ball with a lot of hook, which hand position on the chart should I be throwing? C1 and keep to the left?
I’ve been trying to get my degree of tilt lower…. I’m 33 degrees of tilt 🤦🏽♂️
What about playing the inside of the ball ?
I don’t understand why less axis rotation would be better from way deep giving the pocket away. Wouldn’t you want more recovery downlane from in there? Conversely, I would think logically you would want less axis rotation when playing up the boards so it doesn’t bounce off the spot from shallow angles.

I’m reading the lanes front to back, not side to side. The right ball with the correct layout and surface will control the side to side for me. Because it’s only me and I was jumping around, I needed to stay up the back to get it to roll sooner when I moved left into deeper oil. If I was bowling with 9 other people on the pair, I may have to use a weaker release if I was far left because there will be a lot less oil. The objective is to know what you need to go to when you need to go to it. I can use any release with any ball from any angle. You’re not locked in to using specific release in a specific zone. There’s tons of variables that can dictate what kind of release you decide to use at any given time.

@@cmclean300 thanks for the reply. I definitely still have a lot to learn.
Does that mean the A release is rolling over the drilled holes?

@cmclean300 I'm having troubles with my bowling ball tracking over the finger hole. I tried to re drill it with the new pap yet it still tracks over it, what can I do to fix this? I'm 2 handed as well
When is the Storm lanes getting Clutch bowling !? Can you make a video showing one ball, with different finishes using rough edge, smooth edge and gloss and reacta shine. You can achieve 5000, 5500 , 6000 & 6500 polished finishes with different underlying grits. Curious to see the surface scan numbers and lane performances

Clutch bowling? Really? lol... What the hell would a facility like this want with a bunch of dancing pancakes projected onto the lanes? 🤣🤣

They can do some real cool things and show us live data and ball traces, and do some lights off videos, and oil imagines on the 10 way videos. Whatever else they want to try like glow on the dark oil lol
You should do a short gif of a closeup of your hand through the .5 second or so of release in a brady bunch/tic-tac-toe matrix with each square being one of the 9 hand positions. Your welcome.

I can't watch this video. most people that try and lock their wrist into any kind of position will grab the ball no matter how they throw it. staying relaxed and changing where their hand finishes aka behind, all the way to a suit case finish will change your tilt and reaction. try not to lock your wrist.

My wrist is far from being locked anywhere in the swing. The only time it would be is if I was wearing a glove. Feeling your hand in the proper position throughout the swing is important, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s locked into that position.

@@cmclean300 that's crap, you're literally telling people to lock their wrist in a position that isn't natural to gain rev/tilt release. I don't care what you have to say from here. anyone reading this just cover your spares, stay loose, and focus on throwing good shots. good luck
