Ive been riding for years and i couldnt believe how much higher i went when i kept my legs straight until the back tire left the lip. It was a grest feeling. I wish someone would have taught me this yewrs ago.

Beste dirt jump beginner tutorial on youtube. Only thing that was missing that somebody taught me is last time i rode my dirt jumper is not to bend the legs to much while riding up the face of the jump

Correct. Make yourself small at the bottom to pump into the beginning of the jump and then explode coming off

One big question for me: I jump too early- when i see the lip I raise the front end then my back wheel comes off the jump earlier than the lip -as u do here too, your back wheel touches the lip ( end of jump) -how do to that? how to think about that? Almost like a manual ? can u please help me with that ;D ?

Any top technique tips for going from trail jumping on an enduro bike to jump lines on a dj bike?

  • @EmilyHorridge

hmm.. it kinda depends on the jumps. If the jumps you usually do on your enduro are pretty steep then probably not much difference, but if they are more mellow and require speed, then I'd say be careful about not going too fast on proper steep jump lines on a DJ bike. You'll probably get more boost/speed from the DJ cos there's no suspension sucking energy/speed. Hope that helps!

I'm on a 26" on the DJ bike. It's nice, it gives a good margin for error compared to a BMX but it's nice and precise.
