I only got the Intro for now just to dip my toes and was wondering if anything you’re teaching will be over my head because I don’t have certain features. • What are or how do you inspire yourself for creating melodies for a song? Hey Ethan! I just came back from a mammoth 3 day festival in Saudi called MDL Beast SoundStorm and I got to see all my fave teenage and uni years artists (DeadMau5, Axwell, Tiesto AVB) and some new ones like Black Coffee. I came home and dusted off my LPP Mk3 and MiniLab3 which have sat idly for almost 4 years and realised that after listening to my fave acts live is that I never mastered the true basics of music production - DRUM PATTERNS ! Could you please do a video covering the foundational drum patterns according to genres and their respective BPMs? It hit me that I’ll never master the basics of the midi controllers and DAW if I can’t just lay down a simple house drum pattern- no amount of my Splice or my plugins can correct or fill in for that so look forward to a video on this!
