By that logic you should be exporting at 1080p 30 fps so IG doesn’t compress it as much to its native 720 at 30.

It’s just that ppl also say export 25bit rate to prevent the over compression from having a high bit rate video. So this is the complete opposite and I’ve played with both file sizes at this point I just feel like it’s if the viewer got good connection or not 😂

This is a great addition to the app! 👍 However, if I ever use the app (I prefer to use Studio) I use the excellent Story mode and that still only offers 1440p as the maximum export resolution (I can export at 4k in album mode though). Hopefully it's me doing something stupid here as it well be really annoying if you can't effort at 4k in Story mode?

Where can i find shanil

I’ve noticed if the social media platform is reducing the quality of the video you can get around this by use the desktop version and not the app.

i use an old app on my desktop which i never update since the update made it a lot harder to use.

Mine dont have 4k??? Is it only for ios? Not andriod??

Got convinced to go film from your videos on the insta 3603X. Light and compact with some real power. Can you shoot me a link of video that's uploaded to social media like tic tok so I can see the effect when the cameras settings are properly set.. maybe some links in the description. I would experiment but I just ordered my 360x3 about an hour ago. I'm taking a break from the reality of a professional career and creating some reality to share with others... Going to film some traveling, hiking, motorcycle rides, sailing and vacation resort trips. Starting in Las Vegas, Dallas Texas then back to Vegas and then onward to Bangkok Thailand. Great video. I am new to Insta360 videos. I recorded a 5.7k 30fps video and the moment I increased the speed from 1x higher the video quality is getting worse. Am I missing something here?

Keep in mind when uploading to KZread, as soon as the video is done uploading it still may be blurry that's because the higher resolution is still being uploaded, for me a 10 minute video in 4k took almost 20 minutes to upload the high resolution

Not really. You should go to CREATE A VIDEO, add your footage there and export with Reduce Noise option that only shows in that tab.

may I check, should I always pre-compressed my 4k video to 1080p then upload to social media, to try prevent social media from further compressing our video. Or just upload 4k, and advice viewer to select 4k for better quality, based on their network speed/data capp?

Where are you uploading to? For example, It’s ok to export 4k from the insta360 app and then put it in a 1080p timeline for another export in CapCut. Its always best to start with the best quality possible from the insta360 app 👍🏽

@@Best360 thank you for your reply, I usually export as 4k from insta360. after post editing, then I will export and compressed into 1080p for KZread. reasons, I have few followers was informing me, my 4k video does not looks like 4k video. then I realised YT are showing them at HD or 720p format rather than 4K format.

Finally koz some reviewers produce bad videos then they complain ,,they use wrong export settings or have a hard on to be sponsored by DJI for pitting osmo action vs x3 ,,,

There is no 4k option in export

4k video crashing from the mobile app.....

There is actually a difference in quality when exporting in 1080p and 4k. The same goes for insta360 studio. The 4k export has greater detail than the 1080p export 👍🏽

You too feeling after the aap update the video quality has been pixelated facing this after the August update

I think it looks much better. The gap between app and desktop software export is much closer. But it could depend on what phone you’re using maybe. I am using iPhone 14 pro

You need to update the app and insta360 x3 to latest firmware, try record some new videos and you should see it

Bad advice for my perspective. Dont use the highest export settings... Especially the bitrate. Compression will make it look worse. Even your video look bad on social media comparee to mine. I find the standard settings from the app works perfectly.

You need higher bitrate for fast moving action, like filming a waterfall or bike riding, otherwise it will look pixelated. Then giving social media platforms pixelated videos will only look worse. In my experience high bitrate is the best for the videos I make 👍🏽

@@Best360 Ok. From my experience the higher the bit rate from the standard settings the worse the quality of the video on socials especially on TIkTok. Most of what you share so far looks a bit poor in my opinion compared to many edits I've shared.

Not really : there is a bug in X3 firmeware : random bitrate at 4K resolution : 36 Mbps or 80 Mbps instead of 120 :)

For Real telling people to upload at max birate and 4k?😅😂. You need to have average a bit better than what youtube/insta will compress so 20-40 mbits is great but upload max 1440 or 1080p .
