The other slick 2019 deal I got was a 13" Heart of the Hide 1B mitt at a Rawlings outlet. That was $160 and it was the softest HoH that I've ever encountered. It broke in in less than two months. My mind was blown. Thanks for this video. The Mercari tip could be huge.

The real secret is stalk fb market place and eBay for great prices really your video makes good sense too. I got a 280 hoh Jr 11 inch for 100 saved 180 and if you like composite bats buy them used most composite bts are hottest at the last half of their life buy adv easton for 150 instead of 350 and you got the best of that bats life. It's opposite of a used car you want a car brand new but you want a composite bat broken in for sure

Softball catchers gloves are perfect to use as a first base glove in slow pitch. In high school an opposing team used one of the men’s locker rooms to change. They ended up leaving a lefty catchers glove and the next day I found it in there. So I scored a “first base” glove for slow pitch haha

I live near a factory store and got a heart of the hide for $139 factory blemish. (Smudged letter)

Do you have any input or opinions on 661 gloves? They are Kip leather custom built gloves that seem to be very similar to 44, hope to hear back from you.

44 are ok. They dye their leather and it’s not consistent. For the price they’re ok when you can catch a sale but I would stay away from them and just save 60/80 bucks more and by a HOH or A2000

I’d go with anything between 12” and 12.5” If you watch the “pros” for slow pitch they wear huge gloves like 12.75” at short or 14” in the outfield

And lastly do you choose the pro stiff or Standard option when selecting the stiffness? I know the pro stiff takes longer to break in. But will it still be nice and soft once broken in or does it stay stiff like I can’t squeeze it. Thanks bro.

All glove sites... If your patient enough previous season models will eventually go on sale, not dirt cheap but if your like me and cant bring yourself to buying a used glove, then just be patient and wait for sale/clearance prices to come around and you might find a PP on sale for HOH prices or less and HOH on sale for a decent prices too. I got a Lindor PP PROS205-2BGS on sale years ago and love it

I've just started recently started eBay hunting I got a 2001 era deadstock Wilson A2000 1782 off a bid for $190 and a deadstock w/ tags in plastic 1980s or 1990s era Wilson A2403 for like $130. But in my entire life I only ever got 1 glove full price my Junior year of High school I got the camel with black red logos A2000 1799 but my two previous A2000s I had I bought collectively for like $70 and before they I had a bunch of shitty $50-$100 retail gloves for youth ball.

Do you have any videos or recommendations for inexpensive outfield gloves for HS level? I am looking for one for my son who mostly plays infield but randomly will play OF. I really don't want to buy another 200+ for a secondary position glove.

slowpitch in higher divisions, dudes blasting missiles, i find 44 to not have enough padding. many finger bruises to show. Even ring ringer taken some blasts. And old Mizuno glove, never felt stingers with that one.

A glove lasts 6+ years. A bat lasts 1 or two. You guys are putting 550 into a bat every two seasons, but think a $200 glove that lasts for 6+ years is too much
