The National Park Service could probably make some decent money by offering a behind the scenes tour of the top of Mt. Rushmore. Personally I’d be willing to pay a decent fee for a tour of the top of Mt. Rushmore. I think a tour of the top of Mt. Rushmore would be a very interesting thing to see.

Climbing any part of Mt Rushmore is a federal offense. That and the area is easy to damage by walking on it.

The thought had crossed my mind that Trump is joining the democrats by shutting the economy down, etc. But one thing is clear, we must get rid of things at the federal level and turn them back over to the states, where they belong, that are not in the constitution that were primarily instituted by democrats, such as Education, abortion, environmentalism, privatized bank, Hud, non-apportioned income taxes, and spending not listed in the constitution, etc. We also need to get rid of farm subsides. Such federalizing of spending and turning the U.S. government into a subsidy clearing house was primary a democrat idea, especially FDR. But right now that is all we have is democrats and republicans, and the dems are the primary cause of division right now, and need to take their comeuppance first.
