The 90's was tougher what do you mean? There are 150 European players in the association today. You could never have that many European players in the 90's. European players couldn't touch American players in the 90's. Olympics, world games etc. we would blow European teams all the way out of the gym. Today, European players and teams can hang with American players and teams. In 2004 Olympics USA won bronze, that means 3rd place and in 2006 world games Argentina beat our USA team. So yes, the 90's were tougher and better. Sabonis, Divac, Schrempf, Petrovic (RIP) were the only Euros to do well and they ranged from the 80's til 90's. That's a whole decade with only 4 successful Europeans. In 15 years the ASSOCIATION gonna be 75% European players if we don't knock it off. I played professionally in Europe for 11 years. From 2004-2015. We knew this was coming!! They constantly kept getting better and the NBA kept drafting younger and younger offensive minded players. Now you have an NBA where you can buy tickets for $5 and nobody wants to even watch it anymore.

@Chris_The_Tall wrong. The only Europeans were bad because basketball wasn't globalized then. The 90's NBA stars would go on world tours playing basketball. Barkley talked about how they would go from country to country playing in the Summer. Listen to how Euro players started to evolve their game.He talk about a 18 yr old Dirk scoring 50 on Pippen and Pippen was the best Defender at the time. European players are way better than the Euros of the 80's and 90's. Do some research and listen to NBA players compare the Two

The greats are often driven by a desire to hide/overcome embarrassing fundamental weaknesses: too short, can't put on muscle, weight struggles, can't shoot, can't go left, can't dunk, too short, too slow, can't finish left, can't dribble (well), can't play D, no court vision, can't understand complex plays, etc. AI never FINISHED with his left hand. He could certainly dribble very well with his left hand. In fact, for right-hand dominant players (like myself), it's way easier to cross right-to-left. The fact that he's crossing left-to-right means he can dribble well with his left, but just wants to always finish with the right.
