The Secret Land is a 1948 American documentary film about an American expedition code-named "Operation High Jump" to explore Antarctica. It won the Academy Award for Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
Operation Highjump (OpHjp), officially titled The United States Navy Antarctic Developments Program, 1946-1947, was a United States Navy operation organized by Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd Jr., USN (Ret), Officer in Charge, Task Force 68, and led by Rear Admiral Richard H. Cruzen, USN, Commanding Officer, Task Force 68. Operation Highjump commenced 26 August 1946 and ended in late February 1947. Task Force 68 included 4,700 men, 13 ships, and multiple aircraft. The primary mission of Operation Highjump was to establish the Antarctic research base Little America IV. The Western Group of ships reached the Marquesas Islands on December 12, 1946, whereupon the Henderson and Cacapon set up weather monitoring stations. By the 24th, the Currituck had begun launching aircraft on reconnaissance missions.
The Eastern Group of ships reached Peter I Island in late December 1946.
On January 1, 1947, LCDR Thompson and Chief Petty Officer Dixon utilized "Jack Browne" masks and DESCO Oxygen rebreathers to log the first dive by Americans under the Antarctic.[4] Paul Allman Siple, PhD was the senior U.S. War Department representative on the expedition. Dr. Siple was the same Eagle Scout who accompanied Admiral Byrd on the previous Byrd Antarctic expeditions.
On December 30, 1946, aviation radiomen Wendell K. Hendersin, Fredrick W. Williams, and Ensign Maxwell A. Lopez were killed when their PBM Mariner George 1 crashed during a blizzard. The surviving six crewmembers, including Aviation Radioman James H. Robbins and co-pilot William Kearns, were rescued 13 days later. A plaque was later erected at the McMurdo Station research base, honoring the three killed crewmen.
In December 2004, an attempt was made to locate the remains of the plane. There are ongoing efforts to repatriate the bodies of the three men killed in the crash. Killed airman Maxwell A. Lopez had a mountain named in his honour after his death, Mount Lopez on Thurston Island.
Additionally, Vance N. Woodall died during a "ship unloading accident" sometime after December 30, 1946. In a crew profile, deckman Edward Beardsley described his worst memory as "when Seaman Vance Woodall died on the Ross Ice Shelf under a piece of roller equipment designed to "pave" the ice to build an airstrip."
Father William Menster served as chaplain during the expedition, and in a service in 1947 he consecrated Antarctica.
The Central Group of ships reached the Bay of Whales on January 15, 1947, where they constructed temporary runways along the glaciers, in a base dubbed Little America IV.
Naval ships and personnel were withdrawn back to the United States in late February 1947 and the expedition was terminated, due to the early approach of winter and worsening weather conditions.
After the operation ended, a follow-up Operation Windmill returned to the area, in order to provide ground-truthing to the aerial photography of Highjump.
A highly controversial German documentary: UFO - Technology Secrets and the Third Reich. suggests at the end of the hour-long film, that the real reason for the High Jump expedition was to seek out a secret German UFO station still operating in the Antarctic.

Ten years later the Antarctic Treaty came into effect, so that no nation signing will exploit resources on the continent. I was there 5 years after that, still using the R4-D, weasels and Quanset shelters. JFK was my Commander in Chief, I recall the flag at half-mast that day when I trudged to the chow hall in a white out and asked the cooks what it was about. He had been killed, I hope to live long enough to learn the truth.

My grandfather was on the operation high jump mission with Admiral Byrd. He was an honorable Navy pilot. I wish he was here today. I would love to hear his stories. He was a navy officer his whole life, fought in 7 wars, even helped look for Amelia Earnhart when she went missing. Bless his soul. I know he did a lot for our country and lost his family in the process. I know he had a husky pup while in the Navy. I wonder if it was one of the pups in this movie clip. Bless all the men, women and their families for everything they have sacrificed for our country.

Word is, some craft his men were operating moved like the “TicTac” -and several other- UAPs, seen in US Naval Video recently released by the pentagon In their supposed UFO disclosure releases. 🤯 Then there is also the story of a team of SEALs in 02 who repelled down a shaft in ice & encountered ruins & 3 giants.

This film we've all seen, but we've only been shown parts of the original! I want to see ALL of it! Especially, where Admiral Byrd's plan fly's down and see the giant Mammoths roaming around, and the crafts with the German looking swastikas that pull up beside Byrd's plane, suddenly somehow taken control of Byrd's plane then a German sounding voice comes over the radio telling Byrd and his crew not to panic that they have taken control of his plane and that he's in good hands and will be landing them safely in like 10 minutes where he/Byrd will meet with their leader. Suddenly they see a city start to appear and it's a city like no one has ever seen before, just like the circular aircraft's that took control over their airplane a few minutes before! They safely land Byrd and his men and Byrd and his men are like their honored guest where their feed food they've never tasted and drinks they've never tasted, colors they've never saw and it all was better than any of them could ever imagine, things were so delicious and they gave Admiral Byrd a message to take back to the rest of the world... these are the tapes I wanna see! Byrd went on TV talking about Antarctica, although he never mentioned the flying saucers, the city or the Woolly Mammoth on TV, He mentioned it several other times including in his Autobiography, a book he wrote! I bet the Pentagon has that film to this very day! That's the film I really want to see the entirety of... who wouldn't?

Its simple theory is just faith and bullshit side by side - Evidence which should really be called precise science is what we have its here- right in your eyes the mission the talk and the real footage- NOT the CPU generated crap that NASA shows - The reason why this is hidden because those land have no real name and the Alien's live there and below. No taxes or fees need to be paid just a new part of the world we can all visit yet are told we cant or for research purposes only - WHAT BULL because nearly the whole population will want to go there and that's not what governments want as they need civilians and citizens to pay for their systems to work

You do not go up or out into space you go straight forward. Must be why there are NO FLY ZONES past the pole points. Admrial Byrd describes vast lengths of endless land that looks like paradise, way beyond the ends of the Earth. That would prove the flat earth theory. Just saw a member of Admiral Byrd's crew celebrating his 102 birthday, nearby on local news. Remarkable, and congratulations to him and his wife and family, looking very good for a very senior citizen. 🎂 🐧 Thank you for uploading, From FL.

Do you see that! the earth is not round its vast and a plain field FACT - those that want to go on scientific theory cant even and wont even go there when we ask where is your evidence because here is ours more land beyond Chile and we have many lands past that.

My friend look up Richard E Bird's interview on KZread it's still there he speaks about land that in his words no human being has ever set foot on and animals that were thought to be extinct he said that he saw a wooly mammoth I don't think it's in that interview but it's in the cloud somewhere type in admiral Richard E Bird's interview on the longgines chronoscope it's absolutely amazing and I believe after the interview itself or some time after he was thrown into a mental institution because he was highly vocal about land that they are obviously hiding from us. It also makes me question for the first time ever is the world the shape they tell us it is because they manipulate the size of country's and continents on maps making some look bigger than they actually are and other countries like china they make look smaller. Look up the world map in 1000ad I'm not sure if you can find it but it's basically a map of the world but all of the countries we know are surrounded by the antarctic ice shelf they are basically mountains of ice that surround the whole world and it shows other countries and continents outside of the ice shelf and I believe that is what admiral Bird saw I don't believe anything they say anymore the whole world and it's history is a lie just like the GREAT RESET THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.I BELIEVE THAT THEY MANIPULATE WORLD HISTORY AND ARE TAKING HERO'S OUT OF THE HISTORY BOOKS TO FIT THEIR NARITAVE THE NEWS IS NOTHING BUT PROPAGANDA NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE WE ONLY KNOW WHAT WERE BEING TOLD AND BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE GAVE YOU HIS OPINION WE MAKE IT OURS SO EVEN OUR OPINIONS ARE DISTORTED BECAUSE THEY ARE INFLUENCED BY THE AUTHORITY'S

Seems they were going to war not an expedition. All those ships and a contigent of Marines. Many who didn't come back. The remaining fleet barely made it back alive. The main reason flying saucers were flying over Washington in 1952 flexing their muscle 💪 at the USA. The Nazis made a deal with them. And the reason why Wernher von Braun the ex Nazi officer was the father of NASA.

Space travel is extremely expensive and there’s really no need to go back to the moon, unless we advance to the point where we have military bases or settlements on the moon or start mining off planet. The moon has a lot of helium 3 which could be used as a fuel source. Mars on the other hand would be something new and could see the US or another wealthy country financing a mission there.
