Great Video. We were just there a few days ago, but I *still* haven't ridden the red cars yet. Fun fact: after learning about the PE Railway a few years ago, I asked my Grandma (95yrs old at the moment) if she'd heard of it. She wasn't familiar with it. Then she said, "Oh.... you mean the Red Cars.... I rode those to school every day...". Crazy!!! Outstanding video (as always). A guy who used to live near me made tons of O scale PE trolley models. Old school outstanding craftsmanship. (Bill Everett was his name).

The Trolley is one of the few rides left that I haven't experienced yet. Great, now I've got to go back sometime. 😉

There is also an induction charger in the ground at the Buena Vista station which helps keeps the batteries charged throughout the day.

I’ve actually lived in Hollywood on the corner of Franklin and Sycamore which is slightly behind the Chinese Theater and a couple of blocks from Highland. I worked on the movie Newsies and completely forgot about it until i came across the Newsies cast on Buena Vista street at DCA. Brought back great memories.

Chris, I know you are a master of all thing HIDDEN but did you notice the wig-wag at Disneyland? As you pass in front of Small World, you cross the parade route as you enter Tomorrowland. There is a wig-wag for the train traffic.

I started watching you because I went to Disneyland myself two weeks ago. I made it to California a day early so I decided to go. I thought that would end me watching Provost Park Pass. Favorite treats would have to be the beignets and Disneyland cake pops. They're so good! On a more serious note, Chris, YOU are amazing. I haven't watched one of PPP's videos in a minute, but I needed this. Its insurmountable the amount of joy you bring with each video amd the sheer sense of belonging. Since watching this channel, you and your family have helped me gain confidence in my inner child and with expressing it. Thank you for all you do! 💜

Great video! You can also visit an original Red Trolly car at the Southern California Railway Museum in Perris, CA. They are massive in person. They also have the old original ticket booth that Disneyland used right before you walk into the museum.

They should totally let you narrate the trolley ride. Or better yet- be a jungle cruise skipper. You would be the best!!!

Used to ride a bus from Tujunga to downtown LA and walked several blocks to catch a Red Car to Long Beach to visit my grandmother in the 50’s. Different time.

The San Francisco trolley was one box ticked on my "bucket list". I surely want to do this. I love the Wig Wags + mechanical stop/GO signs @ the park. Disney does the details & story telling so well! A good pastry @ ANY Disney Park is a MUST for me. I have a fav @ each park. I was gifted a conductors hat at Six Flags Over Texas. I 'm a former engineer& conductor @ AstroWorld. We didn't wear hats, but long black pants, vests & white shirts b4 the uniforms went "generic". R.R. Engineers wore overalls. Who Framed Roger Rabbit? But, who's gonna drive this lousy freeway?

Do you know which store in DCA sells the Red Car Mickey ears that were mentioned in the video?

Will be at Disney starting tomorrow for a week at grand Californian. Scheduled to do park hopper from Sunday to Wednesday then Thursday and Friday universal. Anything I should not miss? I like the new font or spacing for the Getaway number. The last one bugged me how the E and the T were touching, but were not lined up due to the heights. Smaller size is better also, than having it frame to frame.

Hi Chris, If you want to see the actual Red Cars they are on display at the Southern Ca railroad museum in Perris Ca Also if you visit the museum you will be treated with Walt Disney's right hand man Ward Kimball's (Ward introduced model railroading to Walt which inspired the building of Disneyland) private chloe locomotive. Also on display is Wards full size back yard railroad the Grizzly Flats! it a must see for Disney Fans as well as Railroad fans.

If you are talking about the buildings on Buena Vista street/ main entrance walkway, then yes. Both sides of the street are stores you can enter. If you are talking about the ones on Hollywood Boulevard then only the last few on both ends before the mural are fake buildings you cannot enter.
